Solace

It was not difficult for John to overthrow a man who dared to make fun of his wife. With just one hit, Chad stumbled and fell. It looks like the man is under the influence of alcohol.

Either alcohol or it could be illegal drugs.

When Chad's body had touched the ground, the rope in his hand which was almost undone, was immediately grabbed by John. The man tied the rope to the pole, and headed straight for Clara to free her.

John really didn't understand what was going on in Chad's mind to do this to his own sister. Is it purely due to the influence of alcohol? Or something else.

Especially looking at Chad's age who doesn't seem much different from Blake. Shouldn't he be able to think maturely?

John managed to help Clara to her feet. Clara then took the rope that was used to tie her earlier, and she tied it around Chad's legs and arms. Then she smiled with satisfaction and cursed her brother.
