Chapter 9: "INVITATION PART II"

It's been days, few days left before Paul's birthday. It's Sunday today, so far I still can't reconcile Iñigo because of his demonic nature. But in the meantime since it's weekend Mom's busy preparing for Paul's birthday.

"Mom where are you going?", I said as I went down the stairs.

"I'm going to the market sweetie", Mom said while holding her keys.

"I'm going with you Mom I don't have anything to do anyways", I said and went back up to my room to get dressed.

"Hurry sweetie".

After some few minutes

"Do you have any gifts for your brother?", Mom asked.

It didn't take long for us to arrived at the Market, some minutes we're inside it walking while pushing the cart.

"I guess nothing's entering my mind right now Mom, and something came up and I'm really annoyed to see his face", I said and walked faster while pushing the cart.

"Why? Is it all about the day he didn't wak~", Mom didn't finished what she was going to say when someone bumped into our cart.

"Ohh I'm so sorry Mis~~ Mrs.Lopez, Hi", Mom said while greeting the woman who bumped us, I guess they knew each other.

"Mrs.Cruz what a coincidence", the woman said while hugging my mom.

"How nice to bumped into you Mrs.Lopez by the way this is TJ my daughter", mom introduced me to Mrs.Lopez.

"Hi ma'am good afternoon", I greeted.

"How pretty TJ, I see you've got your looks from your mom", she complimented.

"Thank you ma'am, you too, you're looking gorgeous", I replied back from the compliments she just said.

"Are you alone Mrs.Lopez?", Mom asked and we continue walking.

"No no, actually I'm with my son", Mrs. Lopez replied, she has a son, well I guess she has because she's a "Mrs" not a "Ms."

"Where is he?", Mom asked again while there talking and I'm still here walking with them like a cold and straight potato.

"He's around here somewhere", Mrs. Lopez replied ,"Honey!!!", she said loudly causing some costumers to look at us, umm Mrs.Lopez we're at the Market lower your voice please.

"Yes Mom?!", someone replied.

"TJ?!!", "Iñigo?!!", we both said equally while Iñigo's approaching us.

"You know each other?", Mrs.Lopez asked, ohh yeah how pathetic of me of course she's Iñigo's mother 'cause she's "Mrs.Lopez" the literally "MRS.LOPEZ".

"Yeah, probably", Iñigo said ,"No ma'am", I said, we both said it at the same time but I kept on denying that I don't know him damn. I just know his name, right?

"Who's saying the truth?", mom asked while we stopped from walking and looking around.

"Actually she's my classmate Mrs.Cruz, I'm Iñigo by the way", he handed his hand to mommy and they shaked hands, I guess the truth will be revealed thanks to this guy.

"Is he saying the truth Sweetie?", Mom asked me, should I lie and keep denying it?

"Yeah mom he's my classmate but I rarely saw him at school", I said, okay I'll stop denying it, it's my mom I can't lie to her, right?

"Since both of you are in the same class, you can call me Tita Iñigo", mom said causing me to cough.

"Okay AUNTIE", Iñigo said as he emphasized the word "AUNTIE".

"Same to you TJ, just call me Auntie too", Mrs.Lopez said, and I just nodded, ohh great.

"Since both of you are close, Iñigo why don't you attend my son's birthday party", mom said.

Seriously Mom? Giving him permission to call you Auntie and now inviting him, I wanted to interrupt but how can I.

"TJ has a brother Auntie?", Iñigo asked.

"Yeah so?", I said while glaring.

"When is it Auntie, I'll attend", Iñigo said while looking at me with his evil glare.

"This Wednesday, come bring your mommy if she wants", mom said, well double trouble i can't argue with that damn it's my mom who invited them.

"I'm sorry Mrs.Cruz, I can't attend I have a meeting this Wednesday", Mrs.Lopez said.

"I'll come alone Auntie, don't worry I won't miss it", Iñigo said, what the is he mocking me?

"So Mrs. Lopez, nice seeing you around but we have to go now", Mom bid goodbye and I just nodded.
