The Trial Part 3

So far, the lead instructor Gerald had his eyes on a few of the students who were doing incredibly well in the strength trial.

Among them was the girl with pink hair. She had a petite stature with dark blue eyes. Her name was Arwin. So far, she had killed a total of 108 goblins.

Another was a vampire with the ability of invisibility. He could make himself and any object become invisible at will.

Due to his invisibility ability, he was able to kill a lot of goblins without sustaining any damage.

Presently, he was battling with a group of 8 goblins. These goblins were slightly different from the others , instead of the usual green skin, they had pale skin.

Their intelligence was slightly higher than the rest he had come across so far.

After seeing three of their fellow goblin dead, they decided to form a battle formation, with the archer goblin at the rear. But it was useless due to their opponents' ability being an invisible one. He was able to separate their heads from their body with just his vampire energy without breaking a sweat.

On the other hand, Elena had already located the goblin king. Contrary to what she thought, the goblin king wasn't alone. The king was in a village with more than a hundred goblins present.

Elena wasn't the only one to have located this particular goblin village. Five other participants were also present.

Clearly, the vampires were outnumbered,with the goblins better coordinated than the vampires.

Elena had activated her camouflage skill, blending in with her surroundings. Her main target was the goblin king. She needed to complete her quest no matter what.

The king was way bigger than the other goblins. On his head was a shining crown. He had a shield by his side, and his height was 5 ft. He had a big belly falling down to his thighs.

Seeing the grotesque look of the goblin king, elena felt like puking. She hid behind a massive rock, waiting for the right moment to carry out her attack.

The moment the goblins spotted the other participants, they let out a loud shrieking sound of battle. Instead of charging in like the others have been doing, these goblins took three positions, some formed a protective barrier around their king, while the archers moved to the rear, the others moved in to attack the vampires.

The ones with bow and arrows were sending out attacks to the vampires. The ones holding the daggers were also attacking the vampires.

The archer goblins where serving as a great support to the ones with the daggers, at the same time dealing little damages to the students,who at this point had already activated their vampire energy,to fend off attacks.

Running straight into the goblin village, one of the students could be seen ,with blue flames surrounding his hands. Raising both hands upward, he reigned down fire from the sky, descending upon the goblins in the forefront like judgment from above. The flames were intense ,and the goblins were shrieking loudly in pains.

With the participant with fire ability serving as the right distraction, Elena finally made her way towards the goblin king.

Not passing off the opportunity to take down as many goblins that crossed her part as she moved forward.

Sensing her presence the goblin king was on high alert, ready to sacrifice his subjects for his own safety, he kicked forward one of the goblins that was serving as a shield for him towards the direction he had perceived elena was coming from.

As if on queue, Elena's claymore pierced through the chest of the goblin from the front and out through the back. At this point, Elena Camouflage skill duration had run out, the goblins could see her clearly, and she was standing like a diety that was sent to reign judgment upon them .

Not holding back, she activated the Blaze skill, leaping several feet into the air. She raised her sword upwards as she decended downwards towards the goblin king. He raised up his shield to block her attack.

Elena had already activated the "Claymore's" active Skill, which deals 10% extra damage upon each hit, and also coated the blades with her energy, thereby adding more power to that of the sword.

As her sword came in contact with the shield of the goblin king, raw energy from the sword filled the surroundings [boom], breaking the shield in two at the same time, pushing away the little goblins .

Seeing this, the king quickly tilted his head to the side in order for the sword not to make contact with his head.

The next moment, the sword came crashing upon his shoulder, cutting it off cleanly.

The surrounding goblins, at this point, ran towards them, sending out a barrage of attack at Elena.

The System Notification kept sounding on her head...minus 1 hp, minus 5 hp, minus 2 hp.

She ignored and put all her concentration on the goblin king,who was shrieking in pains due to losing one of his hands.

The other students were doing well ,so far, the boy with the fire ability had been able to set half of the goblins population ablaze, leaving the other half for Elena and the other four participants.

Although the participants had sustained great injuries, their quick healing powers had kicked in.

Elena, at this point, made a slit on her hands, coating the blade of her sword with her blood while activating the skill "blood poisoning."

She flung the sword towards the goblin king, who was still shrieking in pain due to losing one of his hands, failing to react on time, elena Claymore struck him straight in the chest.

Blazing forward with great speed, she pulled out her blade, but the second the blade had come in contact with the goblin king, elena blood poison Skill was already in effect, poisoning the blood of the goblin thereby resulting to its death.

[+50 Exp , you have slaughter a goblin king ]. As soon as she got the confirmation from the system that the king was dead, she ran towards the archer the whole time, swerving from one side to the other, trying to escape the incoming attacks.

Upon getting closer, she flung out two daggers .She had already coated then with her blood ,landing a clean hit on two of the goblins, killing them on the stop.

Without slowing down, she arrived before the reaming two archer in a heartbeat, Slicing off their head, the look on their eyes were that of terror as their head rolled unto the ground.

The other participants have also succeeded in killing the other goblins in the village.

After accomplishing her task, Elena didn't bother to check to see if there was any item of value.

She activated her Blaze skill once again, rushing towards another location, as she wanted to pass the trial on her own.
