A month later, under Mu Chen's guidance, the Shrek Seven had each experienced notable transformations. Notably, Ning Rongrong and Oscar had begun to grasp the Eight Extremes Fist.
That night, on the back mountain of Shrek Academy, the sounds of rushing winds broke the tranquility of the night as two figures, one male and one female, moved at high speed, engaging in a lively spar.
**Wind God Leg**
The girl swept her leg toward the boy. He did not evade but countered with a kick of his own, mirroring her technique.
**Wind God Leg**
*Bang!*
The impact of their legs colliding forced both of them to step back three paces.
"Not bad! After a month of practice, you've mastered the second form of the Wind God Leg, Wind in the Grass," Mu Chen praised.
"All thanks to your guidance," Zhu Zhuqing expressed her gratitude.
"But don't get complacent. We're heading to the City of Slaughter soon. In the next two months, you must practice diligently to master the third form of the Wind God Leg before we enter," Mu Chen continued.
"Are you not going to practice with me anymore?" Zhu Zhuqing felt a twinge of disappointment at the thought of Mu Chen no longer being her training partner.
"You've already learned how to evade my Thousand-Year Kill and can even counterattack. You're ready to graduate. I look forward to the day you can defeat me," Mu Chen replied.
"Mm." Zhu Zhuqing nodded, feeling a faint sense of regret. It seemed she might miss the time spent training with Mu Chen.
For some reason, whenever she thought of the words "Thousand-Year Kill," her hands would unconsciously touch her backside, leaving her with a lingering sense of loss.
Mu Chen was unaware that since he had used the Thousand-Year Kill on Zhu Zhuqing a month ago, she had dreamt of him every night, often calling his name in her sleep.
The usually aloof Zhu Zhuqing hadn't yet realized that Mu Chen's presence had left a profound mark on her heart.
**Ding!**
"Congratulations! You have received a mission: punish the troublemaker who harms others, so he can no longer hurt women."
"Troublemaker?"
Mu Chen's expression shifted as he suddenly halted, staring into a dark corner. "Who's there? Come out!"
From that shadowy corner emerged four figures. As they stepped into the light, it was none other than Ma Hongjun, Oscar, Dai Mubai, and Tang San.
Ma Hongjun's face was bruised and battered, clearly the result of a recent fight.
"What happened?" Mu Chen asked.
"Boss Mu, that fatso got beaten up by a scoundrel," Tang San responded.
"Beaten up by a scoundrel? Who?" Mu Chen pondered.
Tang San quickly explained the situation.
It turned out that Ma Hongjun had taken a liking to a girl who was responsible for registrations at the Soto City Great Soul Arena. He waited for her to finish work, but when he tried to confess his feelings, he was outright rejected.
Not one to give up easily, Ma Hongjun followed her, offering to walk her home, but she still refused.
Undeterred, Ma Hongjun attempted to persist but encountered a lewd uncle along the way. The uncle, like Ma Hongjun, tried to take advantage of the girl. Ma Hongjun, feeling righteous, intervened to help, only to be beaten up by the four-ringed Soul Master, resulting in his current state.
"So, you want to stand up for the fatso?" Mu Chen inquired.
"Yes! As his brothers, how can we just stand by while he's bullied? Moreover, that guy is notorious around here for preying on innocent women. He takes their virtue and then discards them without a second thought. Ordinary people are no match for soul masters. Such scum is a disgrace to the soul master community; don't you think we should teach him a lesson?" Dai Mubai asked.
"You've misunderstood. I'm not trying to stop you," Mu Chen clarified.
"So, Boss Mu, you agree we should avenge the fatso?" Dai Mubai asked.
"As soul masters, it is shameful to act like villains. Even if it weren't for avenging the fatso, it is our duty to rid the world of this menace," Mu Chen stated.
"Boss Mu, why don't you join us?" Oscar pleaded.
"Me?"
Mu Chen feigned surprise but then said, "Alright. After all, the fatso is somewhat my student. Zhuqing, do you want to join us?"
"Don't you wish for me to come along?" Zhu Zhuqing countered.
"Hehe, Xiao Wu is asleep, and Rongrong should be asleep by now too," Mu Chen replied awkwardly.
"Boss Mu, you're not thinking of using Zhuqing as bait, are you?" Dai Mubai asked, piecing things together.
"Come on, otherwise how would our little group of men lure out that scoundrel named Bu Le?" Mu Chen retorted.
After an hour of travel, Mu Chen, Dai Mubai, Zhu Zhuqing, and the others arrived at the location where Ma Hongjun had been attacked.
"This is the spot," Ma Hongjun indicated.
"Mm." Mu Chen nodded, turning to Zhu Zhuqing with concern. "Be careful, and don't let yourself get hurt. Otherwise, I'll be unhappy."
Zhu Zhuqing was momentarily taken aback but felt a warm sensation in her heart, gently nodding as she walked toward the brightly lit street. Passing by a shop, she stepped inside. When she emerged, Dai Mubai regretted the peaceful dissolution of his engagement with Zhu Zhuqing.
Although she was still young, Zhu Zhuqing had developed quite well. She exited the shop wearing a sexy, low-cut, off-shoulder evening gown. Her beauty radiated an aristocratic flair, making her appear like a noble lady.
Zhu Zhuqing walked with an enchanting cat-like gait, her hips and chest swaying alluringly as she hummed a tune, likely to avoid attracting unwanted attention.
*Whoosh!*
As Zhu Zhuqing crossed an empty street, a figure jumped down from a nearby building and landed in front of her.
The figure wore a cowboy hat and a spiky jacket, his eyes gleaming as he leered at Zhu Zhuqing. This was precisely the scoundrel Bu Le that Ma Hongjun had described.
"Hey, beautiful! Where are you off to?" Bu Le reached out, attempting to touch Zhu Zhuqing's face.
*Bang!*
Zhu Zhuqing wasted no time and delivered a decisive kick straight to Bu Le's groin.
"Ah!"
His face contorted in pain as he crumpled to the ground, clutching his groin and murmuring, "It hurts... it really hurts!"
Was that it?
The answer was clearly no.
Immediately, Zhu Zhuqing moved with incredible speed, raising her foot to strike Bu Le again. Poor Bu Le couldn't keep up with her speed; even if he wanted to fight back, he had no chance to retaliate.
"Boss Mu, I have an idea regarding this scoundrel," Tang San suddenly spoke up.
"What is it?" Dai Mubai asked urgently.
Tang San shared his plan.
"That won't do. Just castrating him and tying him up for public humiliation isn't enough. Once you identify an enemy, you should strike back with thunderous force. Tang San, have you forgotten that?" Mu Chen chastised.
"Uh!" Tang San realized this was something from the Xuan Tian Bao Lu. After a pause, he curiously asked, "So, what do you mean, Boss Mu?"
"Kill him!" Mu Chen commanded, his thoughts firm as he summoned a dagger from his ring-shaped soul tool and handed it to Ma Hongjun.
"Kill him?" Tang San's eyes widened in shock.
"Isn't that a bit extreme? I just wanted to get back at him; I didn't mean to kill him!" Ma Hongjun protested. He just wanted to teach the guy a lesson, not take his life!
"You are all about to enter the City of Slaughter. With your current mindset, I need to reconsider whether you are ready to go there. Bu Le now remembers Zhuqing's face. No matter what we do, if he seeks revenge, he will surely target her. Remember, being merciful to enemies is cruelty to yourself and your friends. Whether to kill or spare him is up to you, fatso," Mu Chen said decisively.
