"That's a funny joke, old goat." Bai He laughed in his seat like he was hearing the funniest joke of all time.

"That's a joke, right?" Bai He asked, but when he saw that Yang Wudi still has that serious expression, his expression changed into a disbelieving face.

"How could you just go and serve someone? Didn't you swear to never serve someone again after what happened with the Clear Sky Clan?"

Looking at Bai He's disbelieving face Yang Wudi sighed, if he told the him a year ago that he will serve someone new again, then the him from a year ago will be laughing as well.

Like how could he serve someone again after what the Clear Sky Clan did?

But, he did, it's because the force behind his princess is too strong and generous, with just those rewards alone proving the joining to be worth it.

Not to mention that the force behind the princess seems to be stronger than the Clear Sky Clan which is a plus in his opinion.

"So, you brought them here to have the other clans join you in serving them?" Bai He asked with a serious expression when he thought about the clues collected earlier.

"Yes, I was hoping to bring the speed and defense clan under the princess' wings, especially your clan considering how bad you are surviving right now." Yang Wudi nodded as he took a sip of tea.

It's the cheap kind that everyone can buy from a local tea shop showing how bad the Speed clan's financial condition became.

"What will the Speed Clan get if we agree to join you?" This time Bai He asked while looking at Xu Shuang who he assumed to be the princess since she was walking at the very front earlier.

"Wait, are you agreeing that easily?" Yang Wudi was surprised at Bai He's attitude that sound like he was agreeing already.

"I'm not agreeing, at least not yet. I need to first see what benefits your princess can give the Speed Clan."

At this moment, Xu Shuang stepped out and took the lead to answer Bai He's questions.

"If the Speed Clan agrees to serve me, then I'll give the Speed Clan the most basic required jobs to keep your clan alive."

"Other than that, I knew that the Speed Clan suffers from a lack of attack power, so I'll teach you a technique invented by the clan in exchange for your clan's loyalty."

Xu Shuang nodded in satisfaction, two down and one more to go and she'll have a new force under her banner, now she'll just have to nourish the three elders onto titled douluo level and she will be on par with the seven great sects just from the number of titled douluos alone.

That, unless they had a hidden trump card up their sleeves.

"Okay, you can stand up now, what's your current spirit power level right now? You too Yang Wudi, what level are you now?"

"I'm still stuck at level 79 right now, Princess." Yang Wudi also cupped his hands and answered.

Xu Shuang then searched for something in her storage spirit tool and took out two ginseng spirit herbs that looked similar.

Yang Wudi already knew what those two herbs are when he took a look at them, he was shocked because those two herbs are just one level below Immortal herbs.

"Princess, is these two?" Yang Wudi asked with a nervous voice, although the words were not complete Xu Shuang knew what he was asking about.

"Treat it as the first benefit for serving under me, with the herbs you two should be able to reach level 80 after absorbing it, I'll ask my clan to help you get spirit rings after absorbing the herbs."

Xu Shuang nodded and said to the two. " You can go absorb the herbs while my great-grandpa guards you against any accidents."

The two nodded in excitement and went to two different rooms to absorb the spirit herb, with Bai He needing to be taught on how to efficiently absorb the spirit herb.

A few fours later two strong auras erupted from their rooms and after a while withdrew and became more stable after a few more minutes.

Yang Wudi and Bai He came out of their rooms with big smile on their faces, clearly excited about reaching level 80 this early.

"Well done you two, now look at my current plan to subdue the defense clan, help me with performing this plan when the defense clan arrives."

The two nodded when they saw the plan and thought that the old bull can really submit to the princess if she used this method.

"Anyway, all we have to do is wait for the defense clan to arrive here, Bai He arrange guest rooms for me and my two companions."

"Right away, Princess." Bai He nodded and went out himself to arrange a room, it was evident how poor the Speed Clan is that they don't even have servants to do this kind of menial work.

Xu Shuang waited for two more days when news arrived from the gates that the defense clan was here.

The first to step out of the carriage is a tall middle-aged, he has steel needle-like grizzled short hair with a ruddy face, a pair of bell-sized eyes bright and full of expression, and extremely broad shoulders.
