Star Dou Forest (Part 4).

The next day.

Early in the morning, Zhao Wuji and the eight woke up as they continued their journey towards Star Dou forest.

It didn't take long for the group to reach the Star Dou forest. Star Dou forest was located between the border of Heaven Dou Empire and Star Luo Empire. It was one of the forest where a spirit master can get whatever spirit ring he wanted, but was also one of the most dangerous place in Douluo continent.

As they entered the forest Tang Ming can't help but take a long breath. No matter how many times he entered the Star Dou forest, he was always refreshed by the pure natural air of the forest.

'If I ever will settle down, it will be here at the Star Dou forest. The city's have their own taste but I really liked this feeling of natural beauty, freedom and wildness that this forest gives off.'

At this time Zhao Wuji stopped everyone and said with a serious face.

"Remember to walk in formation and don't stay far too from me. Tang Ming pay attention to your team mates as they were your responsibility. As they all were looking for thousand year spirit beast, he led them all towards the direction where he remembered to have plenty of thousand years old spirit beast.

The group of people moved forward gradually. They also encountered a lot of spirit beast but they avoided as much as they can. Some hundred beast even attacked them but was solved easily.

Tang Ming didn't even have to do anything as Xiao Wu beat every spirit beast while looking as she was walking in her backyard without care. Well Star Dou forest literally was her home before transforming into human.

Looking at Xiao Wu bouncing here and there, he was really stressed. 'She didn't even know his little brother will come here after some time and will beat the living shit out of everyone here.'

But thinking about Titan Giant Ape, he would lie if he said he wasn't excited to fight him. Titan Giant Ape can be said as one of the most powerful spirit beast present in the Star Dou forest. He really wanted to test his powers and abilities while fighting him as he didn't have to hold back.

At this time a commotion ahead attracted Tang Ming's attention.

"Everyone stop!" As he said lightly everyone looked at Tang Ming who was looking around. Tang San can feel that brother Ming is serious as he also activated his Purple Demon Eyes to observe his surrounding.

Tang Ming suddenly looked at one of the direction as he can sense a spirit beast rushing toward them in his [Observation Haki] range.

Just as the two looked in the direction, Tang Ming spoke:

"Zhu Zhuqing, go ahead about 50m and see if there is a spirit beast?"

Hearing this everyone was surprised but they immediately got in position as Zhu Zhuqing nodded and ran ahead to scout.

Tang San and Zhao Wuji looked at Tang Ming in surprise as they can see Tang Ming has already sensed the spirit beast before any of them.

"Tang Ming, how did you notice it so quickly from so far?" Zhao Wuji asked curiously.

"Well... Because of training with spear and fighting spirit beast many times, my instinct has improved very much, as I can even sense someone around me while still keeping my eyes closed. I instinctively felt something in that direction so I asked Zhu Zhuqing to look ahead." Tang Ming answered them vaguely.

Zhao Wuji looked a little sceptical of my answer but didn't say anything more.

Tang San also remembered the scenes, where no matter how many time and whatever direction Xiao Wu had tried to sneak attack brother Ming, he was always able to evade and dodge her attacks without even looking. Now hearing what brother Ming said he didn't think much about it as he believed it.

Soon, Zhu Zhuqing said with her usual cold tone:

"It looks like a flying snake, flying about one to two metre high above the ground very fastly and also has a fleshy crown on his head which looked like a chicken's crown."

Tang San and Zhao Wuji almost spoke in unison.

"Phoenix Tail Crest Serpent!"

"The Phoenix Tail Crest Serpent is a very rare spirit beast. Oscar, you are very lucky as this spirit beast spirit ring suits you perfectly." Zhao Wuji said while looking at Oscar as his eyes brightened.

"Zhuqing, how long is this snake and what colour is its wing and crown." At this time Tang San asked suddenly.

"The wings and crown are light red and it's length is about seven metres." Zhu Zhuqing said.

Tang San looked relieved after hearing and then said with a little smile, "It looks like it is a thousand year old Phoenix Tail Crest Serpent. The red wings and crown are a sign of advancement. It's age should be around 1300-1700. This snake is very suitable for you Oscar."

"As this kind of snake is not venomous, it's attack method is also very straightforward. It relied mainly on its special ability that lets it accelerate to a very fast speed to attack or escape. If you get the snake's spirit ring Oscar, your next spirit ability should be somewhat related to speed. It is very suitable for you next spirit ring." Tang San said clearly.

Everyone was slightly take aback hearing Tang San precise information regarding the snake. Well Tang Ming was as always the exception to it.

"Wow, Xiao San I didn't know, you know so much about spirit beasts." Oscar said with excitement.

Zhao Wuji then looked at all of them and said:

" You seven will hunt this snake as it's only a thousand year old spirit beast, me and Tang Ming will observe and will only act if it escapes or if any of you'll be in danger."

They all nodded their head in agreement and got in position. At this time, the snake was barely a little more than 10m away.

Zhu Zhuqing on the branch suddenly shouted, "It's coming!"

As soon as she said, she jumped towards the snake trying to attack him.

She immediately used her first spirit ring ability 'Hell Rush Stab' but the Phoenix Tail Crest Serpent reacted extremely quickly and evaded the attack very accutely.

The serpent was angered because of the surprise attack and the fleshy crown on its top suddenly lit up.

The snake abruptly turned his tail in order to entangle Zhuqing and also sprayed a colourful mist at her.

Although the Phoenix Tail Crest Serpent was non-venomous, that must could hinder Zhuqing's sight.

"Careful!!" Almost instantly Zhao Wuji and Dai Mubai shouted but before they can do anything a spark of electricity passed by.

Tang Ming now was in hyperspeed mode as he used [Godspeed], in which his perception of time slows down relatively. At his speed, everything looked like it was happening in slow motion. He can see that after spraying the mist, the serpent was going for the kill as it opened its mouth and was just lunging toward Zhuqing. He reached Zhuqing and immediately took her back in a princess carry .

For everyone else it was like Zhuqing was standing there at the moment and the next moment she was being carried by Tang Ming in a princess carry.

They all were shocked at Tang Ming's speed. Even Tang San didn't see what happened even with his Purple Demon Eyes.

Tang Ming put Zhuqing down and asked with a little concern, "Uh.. are you alright?"

Zhuqing nodded while her expression was still cold but if anybody noticed there was a slight blush on her face.

But obviously no one has the time now, as they all again launched the attack on the snake.

Phoenix Tail Crest Serpent was flabbergasted, it's prey was right there standing in front of him but suddenly disappeared out of nowhere.

As they were fighting, Tang Ming said with a slight cold tone, "Little Wu, Xiao San, beat this snake till it was half-dead for me."

Tang San nodded his head as Xiao Wu looked excitedly at the snake while her eyes started shinning. Even the Phoenix Tail Crest Serpent felt a shiver as it looked all around.

The fight was progressing smoothly and the serpent was being started to suppress. Seeing that he has no chance of killing them, the serpent then choose to flee. But Tang San then used the same trick he used in the anime and formed a large cage made of Blue Silver Grass to trap it.

The serpent was caught off guard as it didn't expect it and was trapped. It tried with all its might to escape but was unable to. After a few moments it gave up resistance and became still.

As Tang San undid the cage and was just going to bring the Phoenix Tail Crest Serpent toward him, it suddenly flicked his tail at Tang San.

Tang San easily evaded the tail, but that provided enough time for the Phoenix Tail Crest Serpent to free itself and flee.

Seeing that it was going to flee, Zhao Wuji immediately used his third spirit ring ability 'Gravity Increase' which immediately increased the gravity around him and snake several time as the flying serpent immediately dropped from the mid-air and started crawling.

Before Zhao Wuji can do anything more, Tang Ming launched himself in the air and summoned his spear and threw it at the Phoenix Tail Crest Serpent's tail.

The spear pierced the Serpent's tail and vertically and embedded in the ground deeply.

"Xiao San, bind the Serpent with your Blue Silver Grass before it escapes." Tang Ming said while landing on the ground.

Tang San nodded and used his first spirit ability to bind it.
