Chapter 51 — Moon Pavilion?

Ning Chen saw his spatial ring, his only precious belonging, laying on the ground.

It was hidden carefully since he didn't brought it along with him inside the Well because it might get damaged.

He quickly wore the spatial ring, took out some new clothings and wore it. However, he was quite surprised to feel his clothes was tight.

It was a natural outcome because after undergoing body reformation, Ning Chen grew taller, reaching the perfect height and he was also slightly muscular than before.

He endured the uncomfortable tightness and decided to buy new bigger clothes later.

Ning Chen was about to start collecting some herbs that he knew about, but he suddenly sensed someone approaching.

He was about to leave this place silently, but then felt something attracting him toward the Well again.

There was something strange inside the Well that was attracting him.

He looked toward the Well and saw it clearly lost a lot of it's energy, but it was slowly recovering back to it's original state.

Ning Chen's eyes glowed with four colours, seeing a colossal blue and red figure at the very bottom of the Well.

Those two figures were the energy source and also the thing responsible for recovering the energy of the Well.

Ning Chen felt this unique vision of him was very useful and it was gradually growing stronger.

He named this ability as 'Spirit Vision'. It allowed him to see the flows of all energies in the world.

It was also part of the reason he managed to notice this place along with some luck.

Ning Chen felt his blood resonating with the two figures, wanting to devour them. However, he shook his head from this temptation.

It felt dangerous to devour them and he needed to leave this place as soon as possible.

But he might come back in the future to check those two and gather more herbs.

Ning Chen quickly left the place, easily passing through the formation without getting noticed.

After he left the place, a youth and a man approached the Well called Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well.

Ning Chen didn't returned back toward the city immediately and decided to stay inside the Sunset Forest longer.

His only purpose in staying was to test his current strength.

He quickly searched for a perfect sparring partner and came across a spirit beast called as 'Diamond Battle Ape'.

It's cultivation age was about 80,000+ years old and their species was known for their exceptional hard defense.

Ning Chen thought it was a suitable punching bag to test out some of his abilities.

He quickly charged toward the large ape, his draconian eyes blazing with crimson flame as four-colour fog surrounded him.

His physical power was enhanced by 100% along with the use of Dragon Aura.

Ning Chen's sword was quickly enveloped with blazing flames that incinerated his surroundings.

It was flames that came from a true sun.

His sword slashed at the ape horizontally, causing the ape to be overwhelmed with blazing flames that melted it's armor quickly.

A large wound also appeared on the apes chest with blood constantly pouring out.

Ning Chen placed his sword in front of him and saw the blade being covered with crimson blood.

The blood soon evaporated and got absorbed by Kel'al, it's appearance quickly returning to it's original, clean state.

The addition of the new blood absorbing effect would now make Kel'al remain clean from any spilled blood.

Ning Chen felt a stream of warm energy entering his body, slightly recovering his stamina and vigor which he used to manifest his Dragon Aura and activate his spirit rings.

Ning Chen didn't killed the ape and left to find more opponents to try out more of his abilities.

He soon found a Blazing Horn Deer that had the same age as the Diamond Ape from earlier.

Ning Chen decided to experiment with one of his abilities while fighting against this deer.

It was about his scabbard's third ability, Revenge Counter, which he can now use two times a day.

After the scabbard evolved and was now embedded with gems, Ning Chen control over all of it's abilities increased significantly.

He was now thinking that instead of taking damage to reflect all the attack at one, he thought of simply deflecting the attack without the use of that.

The blazing deer attacked Ning Chen with a huge scorching blast and he quickly used Revenge Counter just like what he had intended previously.

His sword was enveloped in a starry glow as Ning Chen felt Revenge Counter's uses per day dropping to zero.

Ning Chen parried the fire blast with his sword, deflecting it back toward the deer and it was also stronger with Ning Chen's strength being added to it.

The stronger fire blast sent the deer flying and Ning Chen was glad to see his idea succeeding.

He then named this extended version of Revenge Counter as Full Counter.

The two moves were similar, but also different with many uses during a battle.

There was surely gonna be times where it was better to use Revenge Counter and other times Full Counter was gonna be the best move.

Ning Chen continued travelling around the forest, solely fighting to measure his strength and try many things.

The most biggest improvement was obviously his physical body, spirit rings and then sword intent.

The Flame Sword Intent he could produce was more intense and Dragon Aura could also make it domineering. It was the same case for his other sword intent.

All of his attribute enhancement was also powerful, allowing him to increase his four attributes by 100% with Dragon Aura included.
