“Hannah! My love, you’re here!” Just as I predicted, Vazar stood impatiently, waiting by the door.
“Yes! I’m here a whole hour before my shift. I missed you!” I stepped into his embrace and melted against the heat of his body.
“Hmm,” He murmured as his lips pressed against mine. “I missed you more.”
His hands journeyed up my waist and slid towards my neck. There he found my hair swept into a ponytail and in one swift movement, he tugged my hair free from the band, so it cascaded down my back in soft waves.
“Does this mean you forgave me?” He playfully nuzzled my neck.
I closed my eyes, feeling myself go warm all over. “Hmm, yes, I did.”
“Are you okay with what I told you?”
“I don’t know. So many other things are happening around me. Where do I even begin?” I lifted both hands in the air wondering how I should tell Vazar about my parents’ decision.
