The group then headed towards wardrobe.
When they arrived Ms. Sofia stopped before saying, "I'll be heading back, I'll come and pick you guys when you're done," after a short pause she continued, "I have a friend here who will take care of you guys in the meantime so, stay out of trouble."
"You're not staying for the audition?" Veronica asked in surprise.
"No," noticing their blank stares she continued, "my job is to manage you, not babysit, I expect you can handle yourself without me. Besides, there are other things I need to attend to right now."
After that Ms. Sofia turned and headed towards the exit just before she turned the corner, she looked at the two once again, and where they couldn't see she let out a light smile, before disappearing from sight.
Seeing her leave Veronica frowned in displeasure, but said nothing else, and Nicole just stared for a minute before turning back towards the door and flipping the handle.
Ms. Sofia had always been like that, she wouldn't work with an artist she didn't trust, and she had her priorities straight. If she said she had something important to attend to, it was probably serious otherwise she wouldn't have left her artist like that. Still, you would never see it on her face or hear it in her words, but you could feel it from her actions, sometimes.
As she watched this happen Amber just shrugged, she had been feeling out of the loop for a while, but that was fine since this didn't concern her.
Inside the room, Nicole saw a familiar face.
"Big Sis Andrea," Nicole called out as she saw her instructing the crew.
Andrea stopped for a second when she heard the call, and turned towards the source of the voice before let out a pleasantly surprised smile, "Nicole, good to see you again. The director must have told you guys to get ready right," seeing them nod she continued, "one second I'll have someone help you guys with your outfits just take a seat in front of those mirrors over there."
After that, she smiled at the group before walking off. When she was out of sight, she couldn't help turn back and look at Nicole, worry etched on her face. After a few more glances she sighed before shaking her head and went off to call their stylist.
The girls each took a seat in front of a mirror as they waited for the stylist to arrive. Eventually, Amber couldn't help but turn to Nicole and ask, "You seemed pretty confident when you were replying to the director."
"I did, didn't I?" Nicole chuckled cheekily in response.
"I saw you're audition, so I know what you are capable of, but I'm just letting you know that I'm not going to lose to you."
"Is that so, I look forward to the challenge," Nicole laughed as she replied.
"Just you wait," Amber also laughed in response.
Amber was a very chatty person, and soon she and Nicole were buried in conversation. Amber had tried to bring Veronica into the chat as well, but after getting a few perfunctory replies, she gave up on having a conversation with her.
As Nicole chatted with Amber, she soon found out that they had a lot more in common than she'd realized. They quickly became close, and after a few more moments a stylist appeared in front of them.
After a simple introduction and greeting, she got to work on Veronica.
Since Veronica was the white swan, so her outfit was almost entirely white.
The stylist first gave Veronica's hair an all over dye transforming it into a glistening silver. Next, for Veronica's makeup, she applied slight silver highlights and glitter on Veronica's eyes and a light silver pink on her lips. After, the stylist added some silver contacts to Veronica's eyes and turned her eyelashes and brows silver.
Finally, she had Veronica take off all her jewelry and left her with a light gauzy simple white sleeveless dress. On it simple silver sparkles and around her waist was a delicate silver sash tied in a knot.
Looking at Veronica now she looked like a little pixie. The image was especially ethereal when she stood beside Amber who was dressed the same way she was except in black and gold.
Finally, it was Nicole's turn, but she saw the stylist packing up her things.
"Excuse me; you haven't done me yet."
The stylist looked towards the adorable girl as she said this, and couldn't help but feel a little pity for her, but she still had to do her job so she said, "The director said I should pass on a message, 'Your swan, your style. If you can't even get the look right don't bother trying to act it out, you obviously wouldn't understand it enough.' So I'm sorry I can't really help you so um- good luck."
With that, the stylist gave her an encouraging smile before packing up and heading towards the door.
Just before she left, she turned back and said, "Oh I almost forgot, he also said you are not allowed to receive any help, so the two of you have to come with me. You're heading to the set first."
The girls had expected as much after they heard that Nicole had to create her own swan so after Veronica and Amber glanced at Nicole they left with the stylist.
