News: GK ENTERTAINMENT ANNOUNCES THE DEBUT DATE FOR THEIR NEW GIRL GROUP, STARLIGHT.

The wait is almost over, After weeks of speculation after it was announced at GK Entertainment's annual investors' meeting that GK entertainment would be debuting a new girl group.

It is now official, GK Entertainment is Debuting a new girl group named STARLIGHT on the 18th of September.

Although the members of the group have not been officially announced, the names of a lot of GK Entertainment's well-known trainees have been mentioned as potential members of the new girl group.

Rumours aside, here are the details that are written in GK Entertainment's official announcement.

The group name: STARLIGHT

number of Members - Six

Debut date: 18th September.

Until the members are announced, we can only speculate. Today is July 9th so we are roughly two months away from 18th September. GK entertainment is bound to reveal the member's identity during the debut promotions. I am looking forward to the big reveal.

GK entertainment stan 1: Yey! finally, it is official. We are getting another super talented group from Gk entertainment. Other K-POP agencies should learn from them.

Commenter 1: And this is why everyone hates company stans. Why should other agencies learn from an agency that supports nepotism like GK entertainment? Are we supposed to ignore the fact that a majority of their popular groups has at least one of the CEO of GK group's grandchildren or distant relatives?

Commenter 4: Finally someone sensible. I can not wait for STARLIGHT to debut hopefully some of my favourite trainees are selected to join the group. I cannot wait to see my visual queen and vocalist Nari debut in a group.

CLOCK OUT ULt fan - The old trainee? I have watched her perform at GK entertainment festivals, she is good. Though I don't think she would be chosen, not when there are younger excellent vocalists like Emiko who has been a fan favourite for the past 5 years.

Commenter 1: Nari? isn't she the quiet one known more for her beauty than her talent? Yeah I don't think she will make it, she is too old. isn't she like five to six years older than most GK trainees. She should have left when she didn't debut with SERENITY.

GK entertainment stan 2 - "I was rooting for her to debut with SERENITY, Now that is a group with divine vocals. Yeah, Emiko is good but everyone knows that she really cannot hit those low notes and high notes as expertly as Nari or Yanli.

GK entertainment stan 1: Good or not, Nari lacks stage presence when compared to Emiko who is explosive on the stage. Considering, Emiko also has better visuals, unlike that cold-faced Nari.

These are the most popular trainees, any long-time fan of GK entertainment knows that they like the members of their groups to be close in age.

Honestly, Nari is too old to debut in a group where the youngest member is 15 years old. She will look like their mother.

Yu Seok sat on one of the two single couches facing the brown desk, Director Choi sat on the seat opposite him. On the other single couch next to him was Ryu Bong-Ju, the Manager of Hex.

"We are pulling you from your public appearances for the next month_," Director Choi said

"A month? why am I being pulled from my activities? isn't the statement released by the company enough?"

Director Choi threw a sharp gaze at Ryu Bong-Ju, who just gave him a patronising smile. it was obvious that Manager Ryu wished to be anywhere but in this room with this two.

Director Choi leaned back in his seat, "This has nothing to do with public opinion Yu Seok, think of it as your punishment. We have let you run wild for far too long, it is about time you learned that they are consequences for your actions".

Yu Seok's eyebrows twitched, and his lips thinned the more Director Choi spoke. "My actions? what am I supposed to do for a month?"

Director Choi titled his head sideways, "I don't know maybe use your free time to reflect on your actions."

His lips tugged up as Yu Seok's expression darkened, "I tolerated your little scandals because it did not directly affect the group or the people I hold dear. You might have gotten out of the scandal with only a light scolding but Mi-ok lost commercials and roles in two major blockbuster projects. You are lucky, it is only one month".

For a few seconds, Yu Seok could nearly form a word, his hands itched to punch the director but he held in that rage and instead took in a deep breath. Director Choi smiled and leaned forward, he called his assistant and instructed her to send in his next appointment.

"if there is nothing else, please leave. I don't have any time to waste", he said smiling smugly.

Yu Seok glanced at him silently and smiled, "It was not President Gu that ordered you to suspend all my activities. You did it because of her, Tae-eun was right. You are unreasonable when it comes to her". He left without waiting for a response from the Director.

Manager Ryu scrambled after him, he knew how explosive Yu Seok's temper was.
