Producer Kim Ha Jun

A few days later, Kim Ha Jun's apartment, Itaewon, 7 pm.

The front door opened with a 'Ding' after he had put in the key code and turned the doorknob. Kim Ha Jun rolled his black rolling suitcase into his apartment and shut the door. The light and fresh scent of lavender rushed into his nose as he stepped in, 'the cleaning company had done a good job', he thought looking around his apartment. it was was squeaky clean, he took a deep breath, taking in the calming scent as he walked to the master bedroom. He was satisfied with his new apartment, after nearly ten months, he had gotten used to living alone.

He opened his bedroom door and paused by the door, taking in the wide room. He had gotten rid of half of the furniture in his previous apartment as he moved into his new apartment. His bedroom looked extra spacious thanks to the fewer furniture in the room. As he walked into the room, previous happy memories that after the past months had changed into painful memories came up but he quickly swept them away from his mind.

He picked up his suitcase and placed it on the bench at the end of his wide king-size bed. Bending slightly, he unzipped his suitcase and pulled out a change of clothes. He was too exhausted to unpack his suitcase, he Zipped up the bag when he was done and left it by the dresser, before going into the bathroom to wash up. twenty minutes later he came out of the bathroom with a white towel wrapped around his narrow waist. He dabbed a small white towel on his Rose pink hair as he dried his hair.

He picked up his red coloured phone beside his clothes and failed the number of her favourite noodles shop located a few blocks away from his apartment. He there the towel on the bed and put the call on loudspeaker while the phone rang, he put on his clothes while ordering his dinner Minutes later, he went into the living room. His hair clung to the back of his head, as he turned on his television and sat on the couch facing the television.

A sports Variety show was ongoing, he wasn't in the mood for that. Kim Ha Jun sighed as he lowered the television volume to play as background noise. He pulled his phone out of his pocket and logged into his SNS accounts. He had disconnected from the Internet during his month-long vacation, Notifications flooded in as he logged in. He Read through the Kao Kao talk messages by order of importance. His hand hovered on the message from Jang my before he scrolled up ignoring the message. He hissed as his eyes fell on the number 8 on the bright red notification mark beside his elder sister's profile.

His lips curved up, 'it has to be something serious if she sent this many messages", he tapped on the message,

His lips curved up as he saw the angry sticker she send after her last message. He dialled her number seconds later, Kim Ae-ri answered after 3 rings

"I knew that it was only a matter of time before you call me. Where are you?"

"well hello to you too."

"..."

"I just got back, I am at my new apartment"

She took a deep breath, "the one at Itaewon? is that your new hang-out?"

"Yes, it is convenient since it is just above the studio. Please get me some necessities on your way here".

"sure, I will be there in an hour. I need to sort out a few things".

"Okay, see you soon".

"Wait do you need anything else? Have you eaten anything?"

"No need, I already ordered something".

"alright".

Two hours later, Kim Ae-ri walked into his apartment with two bags of groceries, she handed them to him as she changed into a slipper and walked through the small entryway leading into the living room. She sat on the couch opposite the television and dropped her bag on the couch beside her. She bent a leg and placed a throw pillow on her exposed lap. The first thing she noticed as walked in was how spacious and generic the apartment was. it looked nothing like a couple's apartment, she looked around and there wasn't a single picture of her younger brothers Fiancee Jang mi insight.

"Do you want a beer", he asked from the kitchen as he unpacked the groceries.

She glanced over her shoulders, "no, a glass of juice will do". The apartment-like most modern apartment had both the living room close to the kitchen and the dining room. She watched him as he rinsed a clear-long glass, open a carton of orange juice and poured her a glass of juice.

He placed the glass of juice on a glass tray and grabbed two cans of beer. He dropped the cans of beer beside the glass of juice and carried it into the living room.

"Here", he said placing the tray on the glass table and handing her the glass of orange juice.

"Thanks", she took the cup from him and took a sip, looking around the room. She held the cup and turned to him, "How are things with Jang-mi?

".... We broke up"

Her eyes narrowed, she searched silently for any emotion but as usual, got nothing. 'He is too good at hiding his thoughts, she touched watching him drink his beer silently. He looked nothing like a man who just announced that he had broken up with his longtime girlfriend.
