"That's right this is nothing like my old world, there are Beyonder powers here, the Moon is Crimson, and world looks nothing alike like my old one from the maps. There are even gods here."
"Yeah certainly it would seem like that to you. But the Moon wasn't always crimson, it was silver colored a long time ago. It's because of a certain evil god that it's now crimson. As for Beyonder powers you can't say that for sure since you could have been kept in the dark about these things, after all you weren't omniscient in your past life. And as for geography well, Northern and Southern Continents correspond to North and South America from the past. All these changes in the world happened because of a cataclysm that happened in your time. Now you might not want to believe me but that doesn't change the facts." I give the facts to him straight as they are. He will believe them because I am making him believe them through some manipulation even though it's the truth. "Now the main reason I am telling you about this is to make you give up your unrealistic expectations of going 'home' and focus on your current life because the sooner you do that, the better it will be for you. After all currently you are neither Klein Moretti nor Zhou Mingrui but an amalgamation of both."
Klein remains silent with a struggling expression that makes it seem like he is finding all this hard to believe. Well he does have mental problems due to this later down the line because of this truth so it's not surprising.
"Well even if I believe you which I don't, how do you explain how I traveled through time for this. I don't know about any gods that can control time." He asks me with a skeptical expression.
"Well that's because you don't know enough about gods. And strictly speaking, you didn't 'travel' through time. You slept during the passage of time." I tell him the truth.
"That's even more ridiculous, I am not immortal nor do I have such a long lifespan so how can I do that?" He retorts back to me.
"Well I didn't say you were asleep with your body. It was just your spirit that was asleep. Also do you remember what you did last before coming here? You performed a ritual. And now when you do that ritual it sends you to the 'gray fog' as you say. You think it's your transmigration cheat but it's definitely not that, it's a trap for you. When you performed the ritual before the cataclysm of the world, you were sent above 'gray fog' through your spirit by a certain entity and were chosen as a contingency for 'His' resurrection among many other chosen candidates. Roselle was one such candidate as well. He got dropped around 2 centuries ago from the 'gray fog' but he didn't trigger the trap because he didn't take the Seer, Marauder and Apprentice Pathways and hence he couldn't connect to 'gray fog'. There is another transmigrator like you too but I won't divulge 'Their' without 'Their' permission. Anyway your condition was the worst because when you were about to revive about 2 weeks ago, you would have instantly become a fallen angel and successfully resurrected as that ancient entity but because of some intervention from the god, you were safe. By the way, the 'gray fog' is called 'Sefirah Castle' and I am here to take it from you." I tell him.
Klein starts ruminating over my words starts to believe some things I said because to him they made sense which is reasonable. And the reason why he is so calm is because of my overpowered Placate, otherwise I reckon he would have lost control because of his emotional upheavals.
He then grits his teeth, "Even if I believe you which I still can't, at least not completely because some parts of what you say make sense. But then why should I give up the advantage of this Sefirah Castle if I want to focus on this life? Won't that be essential to my rise to power in this world? It is bringing me so many benefits so why should I give it up to you? A stranger." A valid point.
And my answer to that is, "Well firstly I am not asking you to give it to me, I can and will take it whether you like it or not. This might offend some gods but I am not afraid of 'Them'. If 'They' don't know what's good for 'Them' and come for me then I will just send them to some part of cosmos where they will die or even worse. And to be honest from what I am going to do later, 'They' would thank me rather than antagonise me so yeah. So get of that transmigrator pedestal that you have put yourself on because this is just me being civil okay? Secondly that Castle is a trap for you, as you reach higher sequences it will start to corrupt you so you will have to face much more madness than your average High Sequence Beyonder. And that entity might take over your body in the process. Thirdly, an apocalypse is coming in around 10 years and I don't think you can reach Sequence 1 much less become a god in that time. Even gods will not be safe in that apocalypse, so to prevent it, someone like me should take it who can prevent the apocalypse from happening altogether with its help. Fourthly, the way you are going now, you will soon die along with most of your team around the beginning of September because of a conspiracy that has been brewed because of Antigonus notebook and some other things. If you give it to me, I will prevent that from happening and save your colleagues from a brutal death. And I will also save that Old Neil that is already being corrupted by Hidden Sage. And lastly, I will offer you a chance to become an archangel under me without the threat of losing control even though it might be painful for a bit. I will also give a chance to your brother and sister to become Sequence 5 Beyonders as well while making sure they don't lose control, of course the choice is theirs if they want to become Beyonders or not but you should tell them you are a Beyonder. Anyway that's all I can say about that, the choice is yours whether you want to give me that Castle willingly or not."
Klein just looks dumbfounded at my explanation.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So that was the chapter, hope you liked it. This chapter had some really long dialogues but I think they were necessary. Also I believe some mind manipulation is necessary to make Klein give up Sefirah Castle "willingly" so yeah. Also it's for Klein's own good so yeah I hope you liked how MC is handling things. If you don't, well I can't say much. Honestly I am putting way more thought into this shit than I initially thought I was going to when I started this fanfic. At this point, I feel that I should write another fanfic just focused on LoTM for those enthusiasts and my satisfaction. But I don't have enough time for that.
Anyway even if I start writing in 3rd person sometime soon. I will start that after finishing some of my already planned segments of the story.
