Domain Expansion: Adventure in DC

D.E.A.D. (Domain Expansion: Adventure in DC) Before you read anything: #1. This story gives a strong impression that it is a simulation, right from the start. Don't read if you're not a patient person. #2. Story is strongly plot-oriented and includes a lot of deep narrations. Again, don't read if you're looking for something simple. #3. Read if you're looking for something exciting, a lot of action and chaos, and, if you're patient enough to watch the story unfold (unlike The Cursed World). #4. Author may not give a F* (Synopsis) My name is Wan Juan. I was just a normal guy striving to climb the ladder of life when I walked into him. Little did I know of his nature: A Cursed Celestial. In his D.E.A.D world, my story began in the lovely island of Themyscira that instantly transformed into a battle ground. Slowly, I grasped my nature of being capable to use Cursed Energy and Cursed Techniques as I navigated the treacherous circumstance I had found myself in. Fate bind my story as a prophecy unfolded. Pacts were forged as the situation escalated, and I chose to exorcise the Amazons. But it was only until I met the Justice League that I grasped my true nature and the weight on my shoulders, as, The Cursed Millennial. The salvation and fate of all existence rested on my ability to hone my jujutsu and face threats beyond mortal understanding. C/N: The first chapter involves a rapid shit in POV like in the synopsis above. From I to He. Nothing wrong with it. Get used to it. Disclaimer: I own nothing in the realm of DC or JJK. Just my ideas.

Chapter 19. Totality

[Totality: Images & GIFs]

Once a Shikigami passes, it's powers are automatically inherited/passed by/to other shikigami ~ JJK

---

The Divine Dog had seen the tables turn against me as a dangerous attack hurtled towards me. But it couldn't protect, or save me in the nick of time despite it's futile attempt to put it's life on the line.

The sensation of my heart beating faster and the desire to stay alive, however, guided it into activating the powers of it's fallen black twin, summoning Totality to provide aid to my dire situation.

Totality being the improved bi-pedal version of itself, with black and white coloured fur, white being the dominant colour. It became large and strengthened in a moments notice, but the clock had already ticked away for me as a powerful object hit me on my lower back.

Distracted for a moment, Totality had absorbed a hit from Diana as I crashed to the rock. But that was just a whisk to the werewolf. Totality was fast and strong, and he stood on both his mascular feet.

His eyes looked red as he growled at Diana with his hands wide open. His claws looked sharpened and ready to pounce on any part of Diana's body. And his conscious was free of worry, seeing that he still manifested. That meant that I was still fine an hadn't passed out, or worse, died.

Totality's fur looked spiky and leaned forward, surrounding his wolf face and indicating only danger to Diana.

Several paces from where they were standing, I was getting up on my knees while fighting against the urge of letting go of the cursed energy keeping Totality manifested.

My fingers traced my belly as I came to the spot where I had been dangerously hit, but cursed energy had concentrated there instantly protecting me. Pain and agony coursed through my brain as I gripped on the object stuck about half an inch in my body and pulled it out, violently.

I bit my lips and stopped the tears as pain struck the most on that area.

A blood eruption washed out from the wound before condensing into a stream that gradually stopped. It felt as if cursed energy had flown out with it, and for a moment, I felt dizzy as the world attempted to spin around me.

I held back from losing conscious and struggled to stand while looking at the dagger in my hand. The dagger that had been forged to sacrifice me. I hadn't realized how powerful it was, especially after it had been swung with the Lasso and it's speed and power increased by cursed energy.

But that was a given, considering how dense and heavy the cursed energy around it looked like.

"This could be my kryptonite." I shuddered at the thought of experiencing such a painful ordeal again. I had to keep it by my side and not let Diana get her hands on it again. No wonder she didn't look festered when I was about to kill her.

Totality looked as if he was jumping, but leaned on all fours as immediately as he disappeared in the night. He instantly appeared close to Diana's left shoulder and used his claws to weaken her breastplate, coming off with a huge chunk of it, and leaving a claw mark on Diana's shoulder.

His movement led him to appear behind her as he planned his next course of action. Diana couldn't map out that fast movement, and couldn't counter or defend. As a consequence, it left her with a saggy breastplate weighing on her right shoulder.

She pulled out the remaining wreck of armor, exposing her chest and letting the crimson dripping from her shoulder fall to her skin and the piece of clothe wrapped around her breasts.

Guessing Totality's next move, she swung the breastplate and nearly hit Totality on the head, but he was just too fast, and he moved aside without a scratch.

She swung her Lasso in readiness and tuned to her hunting instincts. This werewolf was just game, and she would kill it. She had battled far fearsome creatures that lived in the forests of the Themyscira.

My legs refused to move, but I forced them to a walk, then a jog, then a run. My mind was failing me from trauma and exhaustion, and I didn't even know why I was doing this anymore. All I could make out was the need to do it.

My hands were stiff, but I enlightened them to the potential of becoming even more flexible. Muscles were exhausted, but my work wasn't completed until I put Diana down. My nervous system was in pain, but it had to learn how to become numb.

My wavering resolve finally became stronger again as I dashed towards Diana with purpose.

Tsks!

I let go of Totality just as he was about to put his claws on her face, leaving Diana disoriented as she defended against an invisible attack.

The ground footsteps became lighter as the forest ground became softer. My heart beat excitedly again as adrenaline powered my body to keep on moving. The exhaustion in my spine faded, and cursed energy flowed to every part of my body.

I was beginning to feel more myself, even as I threw an angry punch at Diana, which she dodged and allowed me to pass her briefly before she drew her sword to stab me.

Tsks!

I immediately summoned Totality who, with vigor, jumped to her back and drew a nice six lines on her skin, all painted in red. I had held Totality's left hind leg as he clawed Diana, and used that to change my direction and swing a kick that hit her.

Diana got pushed into the air as the clothe around her chest got torn apart from Totality's cut. She held onto it even as her body hurtled for the ground.

Seeing that this moment of shame made her vulnerable and brought out a rare opportunity, I instructed Totality to speed up and finish the job with a fatal strike from his mighty claws before Diana could fall down.

Totality disappeared and reappeared close to the flying Diana and threw his claws to decapitate her. Diana's body spined and allowed her to face her last moment as Totality quickly lowered his claws.

She still had her bracelets on, and both her hands were crossed to her chest. But even she could tell that this would be it for her. The whole world was about to turn dark and all she could do was wear a smile on her face.

Memories of all the good times she had had in her life brightened the mood, just as much as the regrets she had. She had never been out of the island, and that was one of the few things she wished could change before her life ended.

There was no ace up her sleeve. This was it. The dog was just too fast, and it almost looked like it was teleporting. It was too powerful, judging from the seething pain in her back and shoulders. Even her strong body couldn't properly hold out against those claws.

"This power...." She thought to herself, but chose not to complete the thought.

Diana's body was not static in the air, however, since she had been both powerfully kicked and clawed. Her body was still moving, whereas Totality's attack had somehow become still. Initially, Totality's claws were aimed for the neck, and nothing could change the fact that they would tear into her fatal blood vessels.

But her body moved just enough for Totality's claws to stab both into her neck area, and breast area. The claws were as hard as steel, and they penetrated Diana's strong neck like a fork stabbing into a hot cup of cappuccino.

Blood oozed out and splashed around as her eyes went white from the shock. Her body convulsed and shaked vigorously, but her hands didn't move as Totality's broad claws had penetrated through them too. Breaking through the strong bracelets around the wrists, Totality's claws pierced through the meat and into the breasts, passing thought the heart.

The body stopped, hanging on Totality's hinds as I stood to look at the sight, horrified. Terror and shock overwhelmed me and a whirlwind of emotions swirled like a vortex gone wrong as I confirmed the worst. My chaotic emotions made me lose control over my cursed energy, immediately letting go of Totality as the body fell to the ground.

It moved a bit from the fall, but the deed had already been done. I had made my first kill, and it was on none other the the Princess of the Amazons.

My legs trembled as my mind snapped, mostly from digesting the meaning of what had transpired. It's easy to say, it's easy to imagine, but when it comes to actually realizing it, killing can be horrifying.

And that's what I felt as my mind raced with an uncertainty, pushing me to the brink of insanity. What had I done?
