Chapter 147

He is the Peak of High Rank 1 and only needs a little bit of effort to break through! Not to mention Samuel has summoned a couple more Two Inch Spiritual Roots, they have reached High Rank 1 and Middle Rank 1 and would eventually reach Rank 2.

Then comes the 2,000 One Inch Spiritual Root Summoning Chances. Even after all these years, Samuel only has 5,000 Spiritual Crystals saved up.

These 2,000 Summoning chances are the equivalent to 2,000 more summons.

Although the Dogs of War that Samuel has now have exceeded 30,000, they are widely spread out.

Thousands are guarding the farms in the Eternal Battlefield, thousands are used to maintain the Caterpillar Isles and Eltorn Paradise, and thousands are practising at all times to try to break through.

But Samuel has long since wanted to increase his income from Common Herbs. However he calculated the manpower, and he just couldn't support it.

Although 30,000 Dogs of War sound like a lot, a majority are Low Rank 1 Warriors. And even more are younger children who have recently become warriors.

Samuel can't afford to guard the Farm with just Low Rank 1 Warriors. He needs a lot of Middle Rank 1 Warriors and High Rank 1 Warriors!

His current farm is only a dozen acres and already needs 3,000 Dogs of War to protect it.

They fight hundreds of beasts a day, and not all of them can be killed. Many run off and then come back again and again until they die.

If Samuel wants to expand his farm, it would definitely require a lot of manpower. And Samuel doesn't want a small expansion, no he wants a minimum of a 1,000 Acre Farm.

Each acre produces around a ton of Herbs a month. So a hundred acres is enough to supply around ten thousand Dogs of War!

A ton of Common Herbs is around one to two spiritual crystals, so it would save Samuel a lot of money each year, not to mention Samuel started to notice something.

Organisations were starting to sell less and less Common Herbs recently, Samuel didn't know why but they seemed to be more interested in using the resources themselves.

Although Organisations used to keep some resources for themselves, they wouldn't supply their lower level members unless they earnt it, but now they were providing a lot more.

Samuel only learnt this because the Dogs of War that infiltrated into Rank E organisations as grunts suddenly received some more resources. But he wasn't qualified to know the reason behind this.

Regardless, these 2,000 summons are a step in the right direction. The basic estimates for a 1,000 Acre Farm is easily close to 10,000 Dogs of War to maintain complete safety.

Of course it could be done with Samuels manpower and only 3,000 Warriors, but that means losses will be reported each day and a group of beasts could flatten it.

But just as Samuel was thinking what the sudden need for Herbs is, he remembered. Auna was reborn! Surely she would remember something that required all of these resources?

With curiosity he was ready to call Auna But first he wanted to finish looking at his rewards.

For the final reward, Samuel was definitely incredibly interested. A unique opportunity? What is it?

With curiosity he spoke to the system.

''How do I used this Unique Opportunity?''

[Host just redeem the opportunity, relevant information will be delivered.]

''Alright Redeem it!''

Suddenly a flash of light appeared, Amy covered her face causing the duvet to fall down revealing a tempting sight.

But Samuel was more focused on what had appeared on his hand. It was a small piece of chalk that glowed with multiple colours.

Samuel held it close to his face and he could clearly see that endless patterns floated on the surface.

He spun off of the bed, causing Amy to give a little groan of dissatisfaction, but Samuel didn't care.

Quickly putting on some casual clothes Samuel walked out the hall. The girls were still living in this giant hall.

It had been renovated into a palace-like interior, and you could see hundreds of Dogs of War leaving.

However noticeably there were 5 different sets of uniforms. Each uniform had a similar design, a beautiful mark of a rabbit on the chest of a thin set of armour.

The colours were different on the other hand. Each colour naturally corresponded to each of the girls living in the hall.

In fact the hall was absolutely incredible in size. Easily the size of an ordinary apartment building on Earth. The top layer was divided into bedrooms, separate for each of the girls.

And Samuel prohibited anyone other than him to go up stairs. All business was held on the floor below.

The girls were very happy with their home. This hall was on the outskirts of the city, so they were rarely interrupted making it easy to avoid any attention.

Samuel also set a precedent for them, if they give him 10 Spiritual Crystals he will give them 5 more warriors. So they could theoretically trade for as many warriors as they want.

They get warriors, Samuel gets crystals. It's a win-win deal.

Samuel also gave Sabrina this same condition, but she got 400 Dogs of War to start out with, because she had been with Samuel the longest.

The cost of these 400 Dogs of War was directly taken out of the 5,000 Spiritual Crystals Samuel had saved up.

For such a loyal wife Samuel was willing to give her some benefits. As for the future? Well it will be up to her to decide.

Soon after Samuel left the hall, he arrived at the Dog of War Compound after almost twenty minutes of running.

Passing by the bowing guards at the entrance, Samuel walked into an empty underground room.

With curiosity in his eyes he reached down and began to draw with the chalk. Almost instantly when he expressed that intention, the chalk seemed to control his arm.

His arm moved crazily around the floor, as drawings of runes began to appear rapidly in front of him his eyes turned slightly fuzzy as he felt his spiritual energy rapidly depleting as it was drawn into the Chalk.

Just as he was about to fall down, the drawing slowed down before finally finishing.

Suddenly he felt the energy in the air converge. The ground beneath the compound shook violently as Samuel saw a shocking glow appear in front of his eyes.

After that, all Samuel could remember was a painful twisting feeling spread throughout his body.

An unknown amount of time passed, until Samuels finally felt himself wake up. What came to his ears was a twittering of birds, but also the cries of beasts.

Next he felt a stream of intense Energy pour into his body. He felt his pond of energy grow quickly.

But it was strange, he didn't feel like he made any progress in his practice rank, but his pond doubled in size easily!

With those strange situations happening on his body, Samuel couldn't resist opening his eyes.

What came to his sight was endless green leaves, but they were familiar.

Creation is hard, cheer me up!
