Chapter 136

There are easily 300 Guards protecting the vault, 290 of them are Low Rank 1 Warriors, while the other 10 are Middle Rank 1 Warriors.

And there is one High Rank 1 leader sitting on the hood of the armed vehicle.

But that specific girl is Marcus' Fifth Sister, Manuela, a Middle Rank 1 Warrior.

Luckily all the warriors here are outside hires so Samuel isn't concerned about their combat power.

Even 50 of the Low Rank 1 Warriors and 3 of the Middle Rank 1 Warriors are all his Dogs of War!

Soon under Samuels watchful eye the convoy left the city. The Guards were relatively well trained, because the pay was good.

It was 5 Spiritual Crystals each if the products were delivered safely. This definitely suggests that the convoy isn't just woods and metals for building.

Currently Meilia was chatting unknowingly with a Dog of War next to her.

''But don't you think something is wrong?'' The only other none Dog of War Middle Rank guard spoke out.

''It's too quiet and easy for such a huge price.''

''Shush don't jinx it! I just want to make my money and leave. My family are really struggling right now!'' Meilia said sadly.

Since her Third and Sixth Sister disappeared, none of her family have had time to go into the Eternal Battlefield.

So they can only make money by fulfilling these odd tasks around the city. This not only lets them get into contact with other warriors, but also allows them to get some money.

But just as Meilia was about to speak out again, she felt a sudden sense of danger wash over her.

''What the hell are you doing?'' She cried out, four of the Middle Rank 1 Guards suddenly shot out!

The man she was just speaking to crumpled to the ground unconscious after three hits struck his head.

But it wasn't over. Meilia looked at the following vanguard and saw that a battle had already started! 50 Warriors turned around and knocked out and killed the other guards!

''Crap it's an ambush!'' Her fears were confirmed when she saw swarms of black robed figures dive onto the convoy.

Each wore sleek golden masks that covered their faces, and black robes around the bodies.

''Master Ye Help!'' Manuela shouted towards the High Rank 1 Warrior on the carriage. He was the only guard from the Rank E organisation.

But her eyes opened wide when she saw what had happened. A robed figure stood above the kneeling body of Master Ye.

A blood red sword pierced directly through the middle-aged man's forehead.

And that was the last sight that Manuela saw before her eyes were covered in darkness.

Samuel saw the crumpled figure of Manuela get dragged away by a High Rank 1 Dog of War and continued to watch the fight.

EG1 took action himself to kill the High Rank 1 Warrior, then he picked up the vault and leapt under the cover of the rest of the Dogs of War.

As for the Middle Rank 1 Dogs of War, they took action to knock out the Low Rank 1 Convoy Guards.

Samuel tried to avoid killing as much as possible, other than the High Rank 1 Warrior who died and a few accidental deaths, the rest were all knocked out.

These guards came from all sorts of backgrounds and Samuel didn't want to offend more people than he had to.

If they were just knocked unconscious, no one except the Rank E organisation involved will be angry.

But Samuel left no traces behind that it could be him. Even the Warriors who signed up for the convoy immediately went into the Eternal Battlefield to stay there.

Soon Samuel returned to the large Courtyard.

First Manuela was placed underground, but she was placed in a separate room to Rebecca and Lacy.

Samuel didn't want Rebecca to catch on that he is targeting her family.

Otherwise she might not be so docile.

However the more exciting part came next. Samuel could check out what was in the Vault!

Samuel looked down at the metal Vault and grasped the heavy lock with his palm.

With a squeeze it shattered into pieces.

Then Samuel slowly channelled a piece of his soul into the interior of the vault.

The first thing that appeared in his sight was a large black void filled with metals and woods. Easily enough to produce a town sized compound!

The value of these resources alone are worth around a thousand Spiritual Crystals. Solely because Samuel can see that the woods are all rare Acia Wood.

It's the perfect material for creating secret rooms and bases. Because it has a perception blocking property. Not to mention the rest of the materials are all very strong and stable.

If a town is built out of this, then it wouldn't need to be renovated for thousands of years!

But just as Samuel's spiritual body wanted to float further, he felt a powerful pressure spread across his spiritual form.

His eyes snapped forward, and he saw a old man condensed from Spiritual Energy floating in the air.

''Ah young one, you shouldn't have tried to enter here. You definitely won't make it out alive.'' The old man's eyes opened slowly and looked at Samuel.

The pressure intensified.
