Doctor Who: Adventures in Time and Space

Long before the fall of Gallifrey, there was a legendary Time Lord, known for his wisdom and power. He was not only a warrior, but also the Doctor's father. What many didn't know was that he had been reincarnated in that universe by a gigantic force. He raised the Doctor as his son, and some force trapped him in one place until, at the end of the time wa,r, he was freed. A basic synopsis may change in the future as the story progresses Doctor Who doesn't belong to me. All rights reserved to the BBC and its distributors.

Regeneration Explain:

At its core, regeneration is a trick for cheating death used by the Doctor's people, the Time Lords of the planet Gallifrey.  The process is triggered when a Time Lord is mortally wounded or their current body is dying of natural causes. The First and Eleventh Doctors, as well as the secretive War Doctor, all regenerated after they started dying of old age. Time Lords could also be forced to regenerate, which was sometimes used as a punishment for Time Lords found guilty of breaking their people's laws.

During regeneration, every cell in a Time Lord's body renews itself. This results in their body changing into an entirely new one, giving them a new face, new voice, sometimes even a new race and gender.  Regeneration also affects a Time Lord's mind, often resulting in some pretty major alterations to their personality. While regeneration doesn't change who a Time Lord is at their core -- they retain their memories, core beliefs and basic identity -- each regeneration tends to bring different traits and personality quirks to the fore. In the Doctor's case, some incarnations have been fairly stern and abrasive, such as the First, Sixth and Ninth Doctors, while others have generally been more clownish and gleeful, such as the Second, Fourth and Tenth Doctors.

Sonic Screwdriver(Pic).

In Doctor Who, the sonic screwdriver is, perhaps, the Doctor's most iconic tool, capable of diagnostic scans, electronic interfacing, and affecting mechanics and hardware. Different models of the miracle gadget allow each Doctor to bypass any obstacle, excluding wood and deadlock seals. If it weren't based entirely on pseudoscientific resonant abilities, it would be a magic wand, and its various casing designs have housed the same hardware since 1968.
