Jackson Hayes, Silas Hayes, and Harmony Carter were stunned and speechless; they hadn't expected such a strong reaction from Derek Jones.

If they had known about the severity of Derek Jones's illnesses and the pain he suffered, his reaction wouldn't have surprised them.

"If I cure you, will you still sue Joshua Hayes?" William Cole asked.

Derek Jones quickly shook his head: "Dr. Cole, if you can rid me of my illness, why would I care about the Hayes family?"

"Alright, I'll give it a try."

William Cole gently nodded, said nothing more, and allowed Derek Jones to sit down.

Derek Jones sat back in the wooden armchair and, upon William Cole's direction, placed his hands flat on the armrests of the chair.

William Cole promptly took out his silver needles and started the acupuncture for Derek Jones.

Under everyone's watchful eyes, he inserted seven needles in succession into Derek Jones's calves, shoulders, cervical spine, and chest.
