Practice makes a man perfect

She has learnt the technique of protecting her from the raindrops but as she opens her eyes, The shield breaks. Chief is watching all the time. He says, " Don't let the shield break. Make your mind attentive even if you are doing something else. Try to divide your thinking power. You have dropped it totally and made concentration only at excitement. She again closes her eyes, with a breathe she rounds her hands and does a spell with full concentration and the next moment the shield is made again. She opens her eyes and talks to Chief, " Am i done it". This time she has done it for really. She walks gently towards Chief. He thinks, " Yes you did it this time. When I tried to learn this, I took 13 days. Even My all 5 first disciples took 4 to 7 days to learn this. But she learns it within 2 hours." Meanwhile Xiao Yin is reached to him. " Okay. Now go and make a cup of tea for me" He says.

" A cup of tea?" Xiao Yin says while giving shocking reaction. Although she is drenched totally.

" Yes. A cup of tea." He says again.

" Okay, wait" She says and goes inside. Changes the clothes and after a while comes out with having a cup of tea in her hands for him.

It been 3 months the same routine is going on and she is learning new things everyday. It takes time for her to learn the exact thing Master is using to teach her but as usual in 2 to 3 days she learns every single thing Chief taught her. Between all these happening Chief sometimes visit academy too. Chief is again gone to the academy. He visits Alchemist there. As The old man has gotten old now and he wants to take retirement from the academy. About it he discusses with Chief. Both are standing in the balcony of the Alchemist hall. It's prohibited for everyone. The balcony has a huge view of all the area of Academy. Houses, ground, Teacher halls, The main office, and even the outer area of the town and the mountains can be seen at the place. The Sun is setting.

Chief - " It's really seem like you have joined us.. The academy will miss you. And no one take place of yours."

The old man -" Yes! Even I don't want to leave the academy but I'm getting older day by day. And I have been spending my life in this academy since I was young. But between all these I hardly even get outer of this Academy. "

Chief - " I know you always wanted to live at a natural place. But after the Great war whatever had happened changed a lot of things and also our decisions."

The old man -" It is the need of the time. We had to prepare our next generation to save from the disaster we saw and I am satisfied of it that I gave my best. The guilt is yet not ended but I have an enough happiness that I spent my life to recover the wound and perhaps I recovered."

Chief - " I'm happy for you if you feel free and want to go for a rest."

The old man -" I don't know. But I have given my best... " waits some time and looking at the setting sun says again " I forget about the boy, you brought with you. He is something special. I have never seen a charm like him. "

Chief smiles a bit - " Yes definitely. Uhm I had come with an offer for you. Or you can say that I am not allowing you to set free properly."

The old man - " What do you mean by"

Chief-" I want you to come with me to Emei mountains to the Hidden Cottage."

The old man - " But I have heard that it is just a rumour of hidden cottage. There is not any place like that.. So many cultivators had tried to found it but they didn't succeed. So how it comes out suddenly."

Chief - " The place was not a rumour. It just carries some private and security concerns that's why the place has been hide a long time ago, just before the Great war."

The old man -" So that was not rumour. The Hidden Cottage exists"

Chief- " Yes. I want you to come with me to the place and spend your rest of the life protecting the place. No one knows about future. And a student also needs you. You have taught the students of academy and it's enough for them now. I'll hire a new one. You should have to pack your bag, I think."

The old man, " You don't have any shame, don't forget I was your senior. But see what are you doing. You can't see taking me breathe and live a peaceful life." and slaps at the back of the Chief.

Chief laughs and says, " You are the only one I really can trust blindly. and as you know I'm chief of this Academy, so I have responsibilities and I can't stay always there to protect it. Who knows I have to go to the hard time or can die anytime."

The old man - " Oh stop stop! don't make me emotional fool. I'm older than you, I can die anytime. So don't say such things to just make me to fall for your words. But it's all okay, Although I just wanted to live at a peaceful place, so I am ready."

Chief - " I know you can't refuse me. I'm giving you really a good option. You can live your life peacefully there and you just have to do is to teach a student and protect the place. Although it is already protected but in case if someday anything wrong will go then you will be there to protect it."

The old man - " and what if I'll die and fail to protect it."

Chief - " You old man stop saying these things. I know about you and your strength. Even if it will be your last breathe you can kill the next person of the same level of your easily. So don't try to fool me."

The old man - " You are really so much clever. I can't win from you. Specially in words. Okay Okay I'm going to pack my important material. Will meet you in the morning."

The Next Morning ( Academy Ground)

Chief - " Good morning to all of you students. I hope you all are doing good. Coming to the important point there is an important announcement for all of you." pointing out towards The old man. " The Teacher of Alchemy of this Academy is now taking retirement today. A new teacher will join you within some days."

Everyone get shocked of hearing this announcement. No one was expecting this thing to happen. Chief adds, " I would like to invite Teacher to give thanks words and give blessings to the children last time as a teacher."

The old man comes to the stage and passes a smile to the Chief. he says, " It's been really a good journey of mine interacting and teaching thousands of students. I'm getting older day by day. Now I need rest and you all need to have a new and energetic teacher. I hope I had never done anything that had disappointed you from my side and also I want you all to give your best and study well. I'll go back to my native place, So may be someday you all will get news of my death. But don't get upset, cause the one who had come on the earth has to go one day... Best of luck Cultivators." and he leaves the stage and goes towards the Alchemist hall.

Chief concludes everything left and says to all the teachers that he is going with the old man to his place and will come back soon, then he also leaves the place and goes to the old man.

Reaching inside the room of the old man, Chief says, " So ready to go!"

Old man smiles and puts his luggage in the storage ring he has. Both of them bring out their wings and fly off. All the students are watching them going. It seems like a star is falling in the sky, they hardly takes a second to get hide of the eyes of everyone standing in the ground.

Hardly within the travel of about 15 to 20 minutes they have reached to the Emei mountains. There is fog all around. The old man is in wonder that the place is full of forests and fog, how far will be the Hidden Cottage. The chief spells something and moves his hand and the next moment the fog clears and a transparent shield appears in front of them. For a normal cultivator, the fog will remain same, even how much powerful he will be, and the shield will also remain same like there is not any place like hidden cottage there, only forests and bushes. But as the moment Chief cross the barrier with the old man, he sees that there is a mountain with beautiful landscape at front of him and there is a Hidden Cottage at the lap of the mountain. The beauty is just mesmerizing for him. They fly to the place and land on the garden. The old man appreciates the place and asks for the boy and then he sees that there is a girl taking the buckets of water and watering the plants. " Who is he and where is the boy" The old man asks.

" She is the student you have to teach or I can say the boy your eyes are trying to find.".....

" How can be this possible, He was a boy, 3 months ago and now a girl?" The old man is still in wonder.
