As they descended, Oli felt the spike of dark essence filling the area of Dark Ravine.
"This… This puts your chasm to shame."
Zelsh agreed with a half-frown. "Then how about we get a bit closer?"
Oli's tail was snatched once again. He had no chance to complain as Zelsh pulled him into the mouth of Dark Ravine.
Hisss!
Before they could reach the ground, a serpentine head burst out of the water. Its long body reached over fifteen krin to snap at the approaching prey.
However, it caught nothing but air.
Zelsh moved to the side without skipping a beat. He eyed the black and blue scales on the serpent's body with subtle intrigue. "So this is a perennial area…"
The monstrous river snake flicked its tongue at the man standing in the air. But it didn't attack.
"So it's not a mindless beast. That's a great sign," Zelsh chuckled.
