"So, what makes the Toxic-shadow Clan so special, apart from Lord Treeda leading the prefecture?"
Zelsh kept his eyes on the unchanging tunnel ahead.
"It's not the clan itself that's got me so excited. It's the vast territory under the strict control of the Toxic-shadow Clan. Normally, we only get to see it every few decades, when it gets cycled into the mortal championship qualifiers. Even then, not even the visiting kings are allowed to visit the clan training grounds."
There were a lot of verbal clues embedded in Zelsh's fast explanation.
Oli was left fishing for the missing pieces to that explicatory puzzle. "Then… these training grounds are strong enough to handle king cultivators?"
The daunting man dashed a bit faster out of eagerness. "There are areas for all levels of cultivation, from novice to elders and perennials to kings. Toxic-shadow Clan is the closest you can get to becoming an elite clan, with two peak-kings leading them."
