Being Boss

The bullet shot past Don Robert, scraping his arm and tearing through the sleeve of his shirt before lodging itself into the wall behind him.

"Do not think that I missed," Nicolás said.

His nightmares were something that he had to himself, for a few months, he alone knew what he was battling and he would have loved for it to remain so but his father had found out and Nicolás would have preferred if everyone else in the world had found out about his vulnerability to his nightmares except the man that had birthed him.

He was still young when his father found out and he had sat him down in his office and laughed in his face for almost ten minutes before telling him how much of a weakling he was and then locking him in a tiny room for three days to help him get over his silly fears… It had successfully helped in worsening it.

Don Roberto's eyes hardened. "You bastard! I am your father, I gave birth to you, and yet you act like this?"
