Chasing Orochimaru

"Perverted Hermit, how could you do this?"

"Kids aren't allowed in that place. By the way, do you have any money?"

"I have a little left."

"Give it all to me."

"Ah, my wallet!"

"It's as lively as always," Kaguya said softly.

"Do you know them?" Sasori asked, turning his head.

"No," Kaguya replied, taking a bite of a dango. "Red bean dango and green bean soup are the best."

"Hmph, it's just unnecessary stuff, wasting time," Sasori said in a low voice.

"You wouldn't understand the joy of being a foodie," Kaguya smiled slightly. "Without food, half the joy in life is gone."

Sasori snorted disdainfully.

"Let's go," Kaguya said, finishing the last dango, getting up and placing the money on the table before heading out. "It's time to settle things with Orochimaru."

In the distance, Naruto watched the strange pair, feeling a sense of familiarity. He scratched his head.

Maybe it's just my imagination.

"Is Orochimaru really here?" Kaguya turned to Sasori, "We haven't seen him in a long time."

Before Sasori could reply, a figure ran over. White hair, round-framed glasses—it was Kabuto.

"Why are you only here now?" Sasori said in a low voice. "You know I hate waiting."

"Sorry, Lord Sasori, something happened," Kabuto adjusted his glasses.

"Where is Orochimaru?" Sasori said impatiently.

"Orochimaru has left. I can't confirm his exact location," Kabuto said softly.

"How could you not know where he is?" Kaguya stepped forward, staring at him.

Kabuto was visibly shocked when he saw Kaguya's face under the hat. "You... you're the defector, Kaguya."

"Oh?" Kaguya's lips curled up. "Is that what Danzo told you?"

"Exactly. He said you killed the Third Hokage and then defected," Kabuto said, looking at Kaguya.

"The Third Hokage is dead?" Kaguya was stunned. "How did he die?"

"Rumor has it you killed the Third Hokage," Kabuto said, "But in reality, Danzo conspired with Orochimaru to assassinate him."

"Danzo could actually do something like this," Kaguya said in surprise.

In her impression, although Danzo was sinister, deceitful, despicable, ruthless, and unscrupulous, he shouldn't be plotting against the Third Hokage, who was his comrade. But it was also possible that in the original story, he had such thoughts but couldn't act because the Third Hokage was alive. Now, the Third Hokage was injured during the Konoha Crush Plan and hadn't recovered, so Danzo might have other ideas.

"Kabuto-senpai, I didn't expect you to act so well," Kaguya said with a slight smile.

"Not at all," Kabuto quickly waved his hand. He didn't know if it was his illusion, but in that moment, he felt a huge threat, and he started to sweat.

Careful as he was, Kabuto noticed that not only was Kaguya wearing the Akatsuki's attire, but she also had the ring that only recognized Akatsuki members wore. He didn't expect Kaguya to join Akatsuki.

"Go ahead, senpai," Kaguya smiled. "Where is Orochimaru?" Orochimaru had plotted against her several times, which had made Kaguya quite angry. She now just wanted to teach him a hard lesson.

"I don't know his exact location," Kabuto saw the cold gleam in Kaguya's eyes and quickly added, "But Lord Orochimaru will return to the base." He then told them the location of the base.

"Then we'll come back in three days," Kaguya said as she started to leave. Suddenly, she turned her head, her eyes sparkling, "You wouldn't deceive us, right?"

"No, no," Kabuto quickly waved his hand and smiled, "How could I?"

"Good, then," Kaguya said nothing more and turned to leave.

Kabuto watched them leave, wiping the sweat from his forehead. He sensed that the current Kaguya was no longer the same as before. Now, Kaguya had an aura that chilled his heart and pressured his nerves.

"So this is where Orochimaru is hiding?" Kaguya approached, observing, "As expected of a snake, always liking caves."

In the distance, there was a large cave hidden among lush trees, easy to overlook if not observed carefully.

"That damn snake, always like this," Sasori said in a low voice.

"You seem to have a grudge against Orochimaru," Kaguya said, turning to Sasori.

Sasori snorted but said nothing more, piquing Kaguya's curiosity.

At that moment, Sasori's mouth suddenly opened, revealing a syringe.

"Swish, swish, swish!"

Numerous needles shot out, hitting the ground. The ground twisted and revealed the corpse of a snake.

"We've been exposed," Sasori said in a low voice. "Let's go."

Kaguya nodded and followed Sasori.

When they reached the cave entrance, Orochimaru was already waiting for them.

"I thought it would be Uchiha Itachi," Orochimaru smirked. "You two must be sent by Akatsuki to kill me."

"I will kill you without mercy, traitor," Sasori said coldly.

"Oh, can you really do that?" Orochimaru sneered.

Suddenly, Orochimaru's pupils contracted, and he laughed, "I didn't expect you to join Akatsuki too, little girl. When did Akatsuki become so desperate as to accept a teenager?"
