"I see. Is that why it chooses different person, giving them great power to defeat the Outer-Gods? Am I right?" Xyrus could feel that he's slowly uncovering the mist of mystery that has been clouding his mind.
"Yes and no. The reason why he made it along with his soul was for someone to replace him as the new Heavenly System. That's why it didn't chose any of us as he didn't want any of us to attract jealousy from our brothers and sister, which is why it specifically chooses mortals." Veneleva said as he stopped for a split second before continuing.
"Because of this, we all tried our best to help the Chosen Ones without the alerting the Outer-Gods of our interference."
"That means that it failed 5 times? I'm the 6th one, right? Which means that I'm the only person to reach this level?" Xyrus said.
"Sadly, yes." Veneleva nodded his head in sadness. Though, he's not gonna lie that almost every all the Chosen Ones except for Xyrus either fell to temptation or died before they could reach the required strength to be trained by them.
Xyrus seemed to think for a few seconds before asking the last question.
"You said that the Heavenly System developed a bad side which also replaces his good soul to the bad soul but before it fully changes, he took a piece of this good soul before it could fully change to the bad soul and made the Tome of the Chosen One, right?" Xyrus repeated everything that he learned about the Heavenly System's death which was confirmed by Veneleva's nod, so Xyrus proceeded with his last question.
"Where is he now? I mean the body, his soul was the only thing that got replaced, right? That means that his body is still living." Xyrus asked the billion dollar question.
"You're sharp." Veneleva nodded and complimented him first before answering his question.
"Since his body was now occupied by his bad side, he changed his name to a new one...." Veneleva hesitated for a few seconds but seeing Xyrus's expectant face, he sighed and finally continued.
"Scruixths, The Supreme Outer-God." Xyrus's eyes widened at that moment as he finally realizes that the Eschaton didn't originate from them or from the Outer-Gods, but from The Heavenly System itself.
"It means that the Eschaton originated fr-." Xyrus tried to ask fro confirmation.
"Yes, our Creator is the sole reason why Eschaton existed. With his tremendous power, even we, his own creations cannot defeat him." Veneleva said with a very sad tone as he continued.
"Eschaton has repeated 3 times already, killing three of our brothers. The Primordial Gods of Supreme Life, Dark Matter and Brightest Light. Leaving only 4 of us, Prime Time, Void, Divine Energy and Boundless Knowledge. Though, for now, you would represent Void as that is the only that you currently have in your possession. But sooner or later, you'll represent all of our aspects and as the Eschaton comes near, you'd be our guide to victory and we would be by your side to assist you with all of our strength. That's why, we are doing this. Not to avenge our Creator, but also to protect his greatest creation, which is you, humans and the entire Multiverse." Veneleva kneeled in front of him and tapped his shoulder as he looked at his eyes with great care and admiration.
"As much as we love to tell you that we are not forcing you to do this, but you have to. You are our only chance to end this war." When Xyrus heard what he said, Xyrus's eyes was fired with determination.
"Even if you don't ask me, as long as I know that this is gonna happen, I'll never hesitate to out my life on the line just for the sake of lives across the entire Multiverse." Veneleva smiled at his words, happy that Xyrus isn't exactly a neutral guy, but a man with a kind and heroic heart.
"Thank you, Xyrus. I think we are wasting too much time on this questions. We need to jumpstart your training. So, I hope that you're ready to handle extreme pains."
"I'm always ready." Xyrus smirked, thanks to this pep talk, Xyrus is now more determined to achieve great strength.
Kaley, who stopped crying by now, glanced at his two brothers, which is Veneleva and Falius, the Primordial God of Boundless Knowledge, signalling them to leave her and Xyrus to practice.
Both of them understood the assignment, so they said their farewells to them before going off.
"Since we need you to get stronger fast, then we'll take things to a higher level. Which is why we'll be returning back to the past, right where you last died in the electric chair." Kaley said, which shocked Xyrus as he thought of a certain possibility. Since, they are using Prime Time as a means to go back in time, does that mean that if he changed something then it won't create a new timeline like how a normal Time Travelling works.
Since Prime Time is only applicable to Primordial Gods and the Multiverse, that means that the universe won't be affected if he changed the past.
As if reading his mind, Kaley immediately placed a halt to his intrusive thoughts.
"Hold your horses. You haven't even known what's the next practice is gonna be and you're already drooling about saving your mother." Xyrus blushed a little bit in embarrassment as he didn't realize that Kaley could read his thoughts through his facial expression.
Seeing that he's finally good. For now. Kaley proceeded to tell him about the practice.
"In this practice, we would be going back to your past and just to remind you this practice is related to mental test. In this practice, we would watch how you die and how your mother died, without doing a single thing." As soon as Xyrus heard this, he was about to refute when Kaley didn't give him the time and continued.
"This is to enhance your resistance towards temptation to just go back in time and fix all the problems."
"Why?" Xyrus felt a bit betrayed as he realized what the practice is for.
"Although Prime Time won't affect the universe that much, but doing it so many times that it became a habit is very bad. You know, I was also tempted to go back in time and save my creator but I didn't do so. Because, by doing that, I'll have to sacrifice the entire Multiverse."
