Mastering the Prime Time doesn't seem to be that hard as Xyrus just took a whole year to master the slowing technique, in which the title says, it allows him to slow down literally everything.
However, just when Xyrus was about to get excited and be proud of his achievement, Kaley beat him to it and said that what he just learned are just the basics and won't impress anyone, even the weakest Primordial God.
"Hmm, now that you said that, I'm curious on how many Primordial Gods are there and how did the Heavenly System created you guys? I mean, did you all just pop out of nowhere when the Heavenly System willed it or you have to go through the same process as humans and must be naturally made through sexual intercourse?" Xyrus asked the question that has been bugging him off for a while.
"That's a good question. For your first question, there's a total of 7 Primordial Gods in the entire Multiverse, mainly the Primordial Gods of Space, Time which is me, Matter, Energy, Light, Life and Information." Kaley lectured him as Xyrus nodded his head in understanding.
"For your 2nd question, all of your guesses are incorrect. Our Creator first created the 7 fundamentals in the entire universe like the ones I mentioned earlier and once they're created, our Creator shapes our existence designated to our specialty with the help of the fundamentals. For example, when Prime Time was created, the creator formed me through it." Kaley tried her best to explain it clearly so Xyrus could understand it without any problems.
"I see. But, why did Aether die though? When he passed his control over Void to me." This question has also been bothering Xyrus lately and since Kaley is in the mood to answer some questions, Xyrus thought of sneaking this question also.
"...He didn't just pass his control over the Void to you, but also his life. If he just passed his legacy to you, it would take you years before you could even manipulate it with a thought, and with Aether's sacrifice, you not only received the control over the Void, but also his legacy and undying will to end the Eschaton." Kaley hesitated for a few moment before sighing and finally answered his question.
"B-but why? I think I could exceed his expectations and learn how to control the Void much more earlier." Xyrus was still confused on why would Aether give his life to him.
"Because I told him about the future. If he didn't do what he did, then it would take you thousands of years just to master the Void and we can't afford to wait that long. It would give the Outer-Gods the best opportunity to strike." Kaley sat on the ground and started talking to him casually, as if they are some kind of friends.
"Would you do the same?" Xyrus asked as he prepared himself to leave here as soon as possible if she said yes.
"Sorry to disappoint you but no. My existence is far more valuable than Aether. As the Prime Time is one of the most important fundamentals to ever exist in the multiverse." Kaley shook her head in sadness which confuses Xyrus on why would she be sad about that.
"Why do you seem sad? Shouldn't you be happy that there's no need for you to sacrifice yourself?" He asked.
"Happy?! You want me to be happy when my brother has to die while I have to live, just for this war!" Kaley stood up, fuming in anger as she threw the chair that she's sitting on to Xyrus.
Xyrus catched the chair just fine before placing it by his side.
"War? What war? Earlier, you also said about the Eschaton, right? What is it?" Despite angering Kaley due to his questions, Kaley has the temperament of a righteous God as she calmed down for a bit before answering Xyrus's next question.
"Eschaton is where the Supreme Outer-God wakes from his slumber and cause chaos throughout the entire Multiverse and if we, the Primordial Gods don't do anything, then the entire Multiverse would obviously fall from his chaos." Xyrus could tell that she really feared this Supreme Outer-God as she even shivered when she mentioned his title.
"Then why can't the Heavenly System do it? He created the Multiverse, right? Then I'm sure that the Heavenly System is more powerful that all of you combined."
"....The Heavenly System isn't real." Xyrus saw a few tears falling off from her eyes as she just dropped a bomb to him.
"What?" Xyrus confusedly asked.
"The Heavenly System that you talked about is nothing but a replica of him that we created just to give ourselves a false sense of security that we're still under his embrace and would protect us from harm, forever." Some drops of tears fell from her cheeks as Veneleva and the man in a golden robe suddenly appeared and comforted her.
The both of them also looked sad.
Xyrus fell on his butt as he realized that all this time, he was talking to no one but a simple replica that was programmed to act as their creator just to give them a sense of security that doesn't exist in the first place.
"Then that means, this war." Xyrus tried to ask but Veneleva beat him to it.
"We're bound to lose. Our creator's death is something that no one has imagined." Venevela said as Xyrus leaned forward to hear him clearly and not miss any of his words.
"He fell in love with his own creation. A human." Veneleva dropped another huge bomb that shocked Xyrus's entire being.
"We don't know what happened but the moment his heart felt love, this gave birth to his emotions...." Veneleva stopped for a few moment before continuing with a tense atmosphere.
"But it also gave birth to his bad side. Due to this, his bad side toppled over him and took control over his entire being, completely erasing his entire existence, but before he completely vanished, he seperated his soul and attached it to a book...." Veneleva then turned his eyes to Xyrus as he continued.
"And this book is the Tome of the Chosen One."
