The day soon came to an end.jack avoided me all day well I deserved it but I wanted to hear his reply but I couldn't bring my self to walk up to him and ask him.Chleo noticed too but I brushed the matter of be telling her it's just a useless argument.she looked as if she didn't believe me but she kept quiet ,she wanted to go home with me but I made series of excuses ,since nobody knows that I live with Kelvi.Chleo greeted me goodnight.

since it was Friday I decided to stay back at school to do some self study since I just got to the school and I have to study keep my straight A's. Getting the to the staff room,Maxwell leaned against the wall indicating me to enter.I entered the room the teacher asked me too pick the books on the desk,she told me that this she is giving the books so that i shouldn't slack off from my studies .i wondered in my head why she didn't give them to Maxwell instead.I carried the books and greetedher good night not like I was going home anytime soon.

The books were so heavy that I crawled to class.On getting to class Maxwell was sort on my seat like he owns it.my head sparked with annoyance " for real maxwell? Are you kidding me?" I askes.he smiled cheapishly "what's wrong?" "stop pretending as if you don't know whose sit you are on " I said dropping the books on a desk it gave a thud sound.i walked straight to him and bent over him "get off my seat "giving him a death stare.he smiled "No" he said.I straighten up and grabbed my bag."going already? "he asked."why are you so bent on annoying me?" "cause I find you interesting"he said then he stood up and walked closer to me "back off "i shouted but he didn't he kept closer soon i sat on the desk behind me "No where else to run Mademoiselle".

" I'm going to hit in that spot better don't blame me when I do so move " I threatened.he laughed "you are just soo cute " he said then my phone rang I did a happy dance internally but my happiness crumbled when he picked the phone from the desk and answered it "hi,I'm Maxwell. Jennifer is busy with me right now ""give me my phone you goofball." "awwn what a cute nickname "he said then cut the call.

My patience snapped "why are u doing this to me?" I asked " well I'm having fun teasing you and also I want you to apologize for being rude to me " he said arrogantly "why do I have to apologize to you " "you have two options either u apologize to me or go out with me just one movie and that's all " I laughed at his silly request "i would rather spendy time doing chores that going out with you "i said "deals off then.you aren't going anywhere until I'm satisfied." he said and leaned closer to my ear and whisperd into my ears "your bf as been looking at us all this time,I will only let you go when you say yes "he said "what ?,Jack?"before I could turn my head he pecked me on the cheek ,he whispered "just to spice things up "he said then he backed off he walked to the door see you later Jennifer .

I looked out the window Jack was still there I rushed out of the class "jack" "can I talk to you for a moment ?" he askes."okay"i responded with a low voice ."it about this letter "he said as he brought out the paper "what is this about ?" he asked calmly "chleo asked me to deliver the letter to you since she has a crush on you so..." Then he continued "how much more do you want to hurt me? Just tell me not to come near you anymore ?" "it's not what you think .I just want my bestfriend not the guy who likes me and as for Maxwell nothing is going on between me and him "i said "just tell me what you want " he said looking at me calmly "i want you to go to the party with chleo please then you can tell what you have on your mind."
