America: it's that bad

When I walk into the gun store I just take a few pistols, magazines and holsters and walk up to the counter, he just looks at me for a second before taking my ID and looking over the non-existent criminal record. He then hands me my ID back and I tap my card and wait for the payment to complete and walk away. It was that easy. Well, you need a clean criminal record to buy a gun but fake ID exists and record less people could buy something a go commit a crime, but the law monitors that fairly well.

When I'm walking outside I hear a gunshot from the bank, a perfect way for me to rack up victory's for my quest, so I walk into a nearby alleyway and put the cloak on before rushing to the scene and find a man strapped with a bomb on stomach unzipping his pants while holding my first customer at gunpoint. I just pull the trigger and run up to the body while I also take the corpse and run up the stairs used for a fire exit.

I kick the door open and cut the bomb from his body and take it while dashing up the stairs I look over the timer. I have a total of 5 minutes to climb around 30 floors. I could risk putting the bomb inside my storage but I haven't tested it with explosive, radioactive or corrosive materials. It wasn't a risk I was willing to take. When I reach the 20th floor, a security guard starts yelling at me. He has a bloodstain on his shirt and is pointing his gun at me ready to fire.

"You little shit, put the bomb down and you can die peacefully" I just use Vision of the Reaper, and a look of horror appears on his face, before he crumples to the floor. I take his body inside the storage ring and keep running. I look at the time on the bomb and realize I only have a minute left. The staircase has a slight opening that I could jump in, and that's my only hope. I launch myself from 22nd floor up to the 25th, but it's not enough, so I take the corpse and put him below me and jump while shooting below me.

Why shoot below me? In case the body is still salvageable, it would make no sense for him to die of his heart stopping, not the fall. Better to play it safe, but then again I'm also jumping between staircases with a bomb that less than 40 seconds until it explodes, so what do I know?

I reach the 29th floor with 30 seconds left, when I reach the rooftop I look around and fine that should I throw the bomb straight ahead it should blow up without causing to much trouble, but I could also throw it up and it should work. I then take the bomb and throw it in front of me as far as I can. After a few more seconds, it explodes on time. I wait a few more minutes for a plane to come crashing down or some other bullshit like that, but nothing happens for a solid minute so I take that as my cue and reenter the building and stop myself at what appears to be the fourteenth floor and enter to find someone wearing casual clothes close to my own, so I take his body and put it in a closet while taking the ever changing mask and put it on my face.

I imagine the man's face while the mask is on, and I feel like my face is expanding and the rest of my body changing to match the other man's face, the process causes some minor discomfort, but nothing major. I then slip outside the building by heading inside an elevator full of people and walk outside. I look around using the reflection of my phone and find nothing wrong so I walk towards my shop and halfway through pop inside an alleyway and take of the mask and switch my posture back to normal. I put the mask inside my storage and dissolve my arm and keep walking.

Just like that I go back to my shop and find Bianca and Marcia watching the news, and it's broadcasting the bombing incident and who the hell the cloaked figure was. When I walk inside the shop they just look at me funny and I realize Bianca had furnished her own room with a computer, tv, couch, bed and anything else she might need to never leave. I walk over to her fridge and take a beer and open and stand behind the couch while listening to the news.

"We still have no idea who the so called wingless angle is, but one thing is for certain. He isn't normal. Using witness accounts and speculation, we believe he is an ex underworld individual working with Black Pearl, who also seems to be retired. Maybe he's trying to atone for his sins, maybe he's out for revenge, no one really knows. With that we will now go to our weather segment."

I finish the rest of my beer and walk outside and look over the article to find out who my first customer really was, and it turned out she was a nobody. Average family, average jobs, just a regular happy family. She was extremely good looking, but otherwise the family was totally average. Well, that's excluding the fact her soul was almost certainly extremely strong.

Just like that I continue cultivating the rest of the night.

I'm not american and this title and interaction between the clerk and Barry is pretty onviously a joke, don't take it the wrong way. IT IS A JOKE.
