Chapter 67

Asta took a breath as his new form disappeared. Ladros reached towards Asta and grabbed his shoulders to shake him.

" Holy shit! What the fuck was that? Fight me!!" Ladros said to Asta.

" Let... Go..first!! " Asta said as he started to get dizzy. Ladros soon let go as Magna came and ruffles Asta's head.

" That was awesome. Well done Asta. "

" Fight me as well. " Luck said as he stood in front of Asta.

' Damn. That was insane. So he can entire his devil form now. I know Elden said he wants to see this but still that's overpowered.

Now though we have to deal with her. ' Touya thought as he looked at the witch queen show up.

* clap * * clap *

" Well done. You saved my forest but now I will take what's mine. " She said.

" What? " Vanessa said.

' Sea fold of fresh blood. '

Around the area, blood erupted from the ground as it covered all of the people.

Asta cut through the blood as he stared at the witch queen. He wanted to rush at her but he couldn't move at all.

" What are you doing?! " Vanessa yelled.

Asta looked back to see all his friends tied to crosses made of blood.

" I got tired of waiting. I saw a future where you could manipulate fate. I gave enough time so now I think I'll try I different method. " She said.

' Puppet blood flow. '

Asta's eyes become blank as he transformed into his devil form. He held his sword in his right hand.

" Now kill him. " The queen said as she commanded Asta to attack Touya. Asta turned around to attack him.

Touya looked at Asta but wasn't afraid he just stayed still as he looked at him. Ladros looked at him from the corner of his eye.

Ladros could get out of this spell easily. The amount of mana she has was immense, he couldn't absorb all of it but he could use enough to break out and attack.

He knew Touya was waiting for something so he looked at Vanessa. He knew Touya was similar to Elden when it came to seeing new things, so he stayed quiet but absorbed some of the mana just in case.

Asta approached Touya as Vanessa looked on in fear.

She remembered the fun times with her friends and soon she snapped.

Asta swung his sword at Touya who just watched and waited. He was cut in half from the queen's perspective but her eyes widened as she saw Touya was still alive.

" Hahaahahaahaha... " Touya laughed in joy.

" What are you doing? Kill him! " She said to her puppet.

Asta attacked Touya again but Touya just grinned this time. The queen saw Asta kill Touya but then she saw Touya still alive while grinning as he looked at her.

She came to her senses as she looked at Vanessa who had a red string surrounding her. The red string soon transformed into a red cat the stood on her head.

" Congrats Vanessa. You finally got the ability. You can change fate now. " Touya said. Using mana zone he burned through the blood encasing him.

The beautiful blue flames he created surrounding him as they burned the blood away.

Ladros grinned as well as he broke the bindings he was in.

Vanessa looked at the cat in shock. The witch queen as well and was grinning.

" It's mine now. Just need to get rid of the trash. " She said as she made Asta attack Touya again.

However, the red cat touched Asta. Asta then dropped his sword, releasing his devil form as Touya chopped his neck. Asta fell to the floor unable to move as Touya bound him.

The witch queen sighed in frustration.

' Blood scythe.'

Creating scythe out of blood she looked at her enemies.

" Sometimes you just have to do things yourself. " She muttered.

Rushing at Touya, intending to decapitate him, the red cat interfered again as it touched her forehead.

She stopped and tried again to kill him. The red care interfered.

The cycle continued.

" Why?! Why are you denying me? Vanessa, answer me? " She said as she could never kill any of them.

Touya had released everyone else from the blood bindings by burning them away.

" Because they are my friends. This power will only be used to help my friends and family. I don't consider you as my family. " Vanessa said.

The witch queen said nothing as she realized that by locking Vanessa up she was never going to have what she wants.

Vanessa never cared about this place in the slightest.

Asta wakes up as looks at everyone and gets up quickly.

" I'm in control again. Touya sorry for trying to kill you. " Asta said as he looked at Touya.

" Relax. I'm not dead, it's fine. Besides you were not even in control of your body. " Touya said non chalontly.

" I just want to back to the base and have some of Charmie's food. " Finral said.

" Same. " Magna said.
