Chapter 44

Fana walked up to the giant door and lit her fingers on fire. She condensed the flames into a single point, practically making her finger a blowtorch.

" Time to see what's inside! " Fana yelled as she pointed her finger towards the door. She then slashed the door to make 2 lines.

Her flames cut through the door like a knife through butter. She stopped using her flames before pushing the space of the door she cut.

Those parts fell down as they were meet with brilliant shining gold light. Mark knowing that familiar gold lighting, rushed past Fana.

" Gold!!!!! " Mark yelled as ran inside and dived into the mountain of gold. Fana and Rachael laughed at his behavior while Mars just had a small smile.

Klaus, Mimosa, Noelle, Yuno, and Asta were just watching with deadpan expressions.

' Were these really the propel who could kill in an instant? ' They thought.

Meanwhile, Luck was remembering Fana's move when she cut through the door.

' She focused the magic on a single point them increased the intensity of the attack. What would happen if I tried it? Once we get back I'll try to do it. ' Luck thought with a smile.

" Gold!! Look at all the Gold!! It's mine all mine!! Haahahahhahahaha... " Mark yelled as he completely let go and started swimming in the gold.

" Is he okay? " Asta asked with a confused face.

" Don't worry. He does this every time money is involved. This is normal. " Mars said.

" Okay. " Asta said.

" Yo, Mark find anything in that huge pile of money! " Fana yelled.

" Nope! There's nothing buried here. You'll have to find the things yourself. " Mark said before diving back to the gold and started backstroking through it.

" Owowwowo.. " Asta said as a bird kept pecking his head.

" Nero what was that for?!! " Asta yelled. Nero said nothing as she pulled Asta in a certain direction.

" I like that bird. " Fana said with a smile.

Yuno walked around the room while ignoring Mark's sounds of pleasure as he swam through the gold while singing a song about money.

* clunk *

Yuno looked down as he looked at the object he kicked.

' Hmm, this is a scroll right? ' Yuno thought as he unraveled the scroll. Yuno looked through the contents before stopping.

' I have no clue what this says. ' Yuno thought.

' Maybe I should ask Mars? He could know. ' Yuno thought as he kept unraveling the scroll. Once he unraveled the entire scroll through Yuno widened his eyes as he looked around.

He looked around him as the entire area was grey. He went towards everyone and tried to get their attention but they didn't react.

' What's happening? ' Yuno thought.

" So you're the person who opened the scroll."

Yuno turned his head to his right as he looked at the being who said that. The being was a super small girl, with a green coloured dress and wings on her back.

" What are you? Who are you? " Yuno asked as he stared at her.

" My name is Sylph. I'm a wind spirit. One of the four main elemental spirits. It seems that luck is on your side, considering you are a wind mage. " Sylph said as she giggled.

" I see. Will you help me in battle? " Yuno asked.

" At the moment, nope. Before I decide to help you, you have to prove yourself to me first. " Sylph said as she stared at him.

" Well then. Until next time. " Sylph said.

Yuno looked at his surroundings as everything went back to normal. He began to think about what Sylph said.

' I have to prove myself to you. Alright, challenge excepted. ' Yuno thought.

Meanwhile, with Fana she just looked at him and smiled.

' He will diffenetly be a fun opponent to fight in the future. I wonder who's stronger. My spirit or his. ' Fana thought as she mentally smirked.

' Those mages are incredibly powerful. ' Sylph thought as she observed Mars, Fana, Mark, and Rachael.

' That girl has the fire spirit so she's already incredibly strong, but so are the others considering the ruckus they made outside. Glad I can still observe thing seven when I was trapped in the scroll. ' Sylph thought as she just observed everyone.

" Okay Nero, why did you bring me in front of a wall?! " Asta said as he looked at the bird perched on his head.

Nero rolled her eyes as she flew and pecked the wall a few times.

Asta watched her before his eyes lightened up.

" There's something behind this wall. " Asta said as he looked at Nero. Nero nodded as she moved out the way.

Asta walked up the wall and pulled his fist back. Tensing his muscles, Asta threw a punch at the wall.

* boom *

His fist went straight through the wall to the other side. He pulled his fist back and pulled the wall with him, breaking it even more.

Repeating the proceeds he made a hole where he could fit in through.

Asta walked through as he looked at the large room he was standing in. Asta felt his grimoire light up as it floated in front of him.

Asta followed his grimoire while Nero sat on his head. His grimoire soon reached where it was headed as it stopped mid-air.

" Another sword. " Asta muttered as he went towards it. Gripping the sword by the handle Asta gave it a few swings.

"It's lighter than my other sword. I can swing faster. But what are these symbols on it? " Asta said a she looked at the new sword he got.

" I'll check later but where to I pit this? " Asta asked. His grimoire glowed again as the sword left his hand and flew into his grimoire.

" Ehhh?!! " Asta yelled as he looked at his grimoire which had a new page in it.

" Well, at least I don't have to carry it back physically. " Asta said as he walked back.

' Seems there's nothing here that worth taking back. Well except the gold. ' Mars thought.

He took out something from his pocket. He looked at the top and pulled on it. An antenna popes out as he pressed a button. A walkie-talkie.

" Yo, how was the dungeon." asked Elden from the other side.

" Interesting. There's a lot of gold here but nothing else to take back. We met the clover kingdom mages that would come her through."

" Really. Well, are they still there? "

" Yep. "

" Okay good, I want to see them for myself. See you in a few seconds. " Elden said as he hung up.

Mars then turned off his walkie-talkie and walked back to the others.

" Elden will come to get us soon. " Mars said.

" Oh good. Because once I get back in going to be busy counting all this money. " Mark said as he showered himself with the gold.

" Who's Elden? " Yuno asked.

" Oh, he's our squad leader. " Mars said.

As soon as he said that a portal opened behind Mars. Mars turned around while the clover kingdom mages stood on guard.

" Yo. How was the dungeon? "
