"How could you?!" Aliyah's voice cut through the room immediately Aaron stepped in.
The room was lit with candles and a lantern on the small table, with some scrolls scattered in front of it. Aliyah had on a red long sleeveless gown, she looked just as beautiful and structured as he remembered, but her eyes were puffy and red with tears.
"I did everything you asked. You said you never want to see me in the upper chambers ever again and I stayed away. You gave me so many rules, Aaron and I obeyed each and every one of it. Why must you bring my father into this?"
"Who told you?" Aaron closed the door firmly and crossed his arms in front of him. "I'll kill Malik very soon if he keeps running his mouth like this. I already have reasons to ruin him."
Aliyah dashed across the room, looking at him straight in the eyes. "My father is not a man of war. Ravina is everything to him, all his life he built his Kingdom to be what it is today. Please, do not bring war upon him."
