Deeper into the Wearhouse, Lenny, Moses, and Victor followed along without complaining.
The expanse of wall only got bigger and creepier the further they got in.
It was also much quieter. Evidently, the deeper they got, the longer the people on the wall hung.
While many of them were at the point of death, most had already died.
Lenny looked at the people on the walls and could easily tell how excruciating their pain was.
At first, the pain from their skin carrying the weight of their whole body would bring them endless suffering.
After a while, the mind, in an attempt to alleviate its suffering, would flood them with memories of good times, or for some others, it would start to convince them that the sewn skin to the walls was a good thing and that it had always been so.
At the same time, their blood and other bodily fluids will slowly escape their bodies from the thousands of needle holes that have been punctured in them.
