The creature that emerged from the webbing was unlike anything Athena had seen before.
As the thick, sticky strands of the web began to dissolve, an intense heat radiated outward, causing the fibers to melt away like wax near a flame. The webbing hissed and shriveled, retreating as the being within unfurled itself.
First, came the wings—massive, radiant appendages that stretched out, pushing away the remnants of the web. They were a fiery blend of gold, crimson, and orange, the feathers seemingly made of living flames. Each feather pulsed with heat, their tips flickering with small bursts of fire that trailed behind as the wings moved. The wingspan was impressive, reaching out several meters on either side, creating a dazzling display of light that danced across the runined walls.
As they flapped, the air shimmered from the intense heat they generated.
The body of the phoenix was equally majestic.
