"What?" Zenkichi was at a loss of words for a moment before his eyes widened in a moment of realization.

"Oh hell no!"

He knew what she was going to ask of him and there was no fucking way he was going to agree to it! If the Valkyrie of the Human Record was who he thought she is...

'Calm down. It's probably just a coincidence...'

[Lucky Devil]: Valkyrie, I have a couple of questions. First, what do you mean by your words earlier?

[Valkyrie of the Human Record]: As I had said, I want you.

Zenkichi let out a sigh, inwardly agreeing with Last Master, and began typing once more. Not noticing two black haired middle school kids and a small green ghost passing by him.

[Lucky Devil]: Specifically?

[Valkyrie of the Human Record]: I want your combat prowess and enter a tournament.

[Lucky Devil]: What kind of tournament are we talking about here? And awfully bold of you to assume that I have some capabilities to fight.

[Valkyrie of the Human Record]: Am I wrong though? You had introduced yourself as the admin but you're just some ordinary human, a young man in highschool. I don't believe that.

[Valkyrie of the Human Record]: There is no possible way for you to not be extraordinary or special, no one ordinary would ever receive the right of managing a powerful chat group that reaches beyond my reality, communicating through time and space.

Zenkichi clicked his tongue and replied.

[Lucky Devil]: But tell me, what kind of tournament is it?

[Valkyrie of the Human Record]: ...It's a tournament that decides the fate of humanity.

[Last Master]: That tournament, would you please explain it further?

[Valkyrie of the Human Record]: ...In order to do that, I have to first tell you all who I truly am.

[Valkyrie of the Human Record]: My name is Brunhilde, the eldest among my 13 Valkyrie Sisters. And right now, in my home universe, the gods have spoken in favor of annihilating the entire human race and restart a new word.

Needless to say, almost everyone in the chat was shocked with the bombshell that Valkyrie, a literal Valkyrie and true name Brunhilde, had dropped in the chat group. Except for Zenkichi, who sucked in a sharp breath and laid his back against the nearby concrete wall.

'I fucking knew it...' He inwardly grumbled as he palmed his face. Her account name was a bit obvious onto her true identity, that anime had been recently aired in his past life so he could still vividly remember it.

Record of Ragnarok. A blood boiling, heart pumping anime of humans against gods for their continued existence.

[Valkyrie of the Human Record]: After 7 million years of human history, the gods come to the decision that humans are irredeemable and must be extinct. Every 1000 years, the Gods' Council assembles to decide the fate of humanity. After 7 million years of human history, the gods come to the decision that humans are irredeemable and must be extinct.

[Valkyrie of the Human Record]: But I had faith in humanity, and I managed to convince the gods to let humanity prove their worth in a tournament. If humanity wins 7 out of 13 battles against the gods' chosen representatives, then humanity will be spared from extinction.

[Lucky Devil]: And you want me to participate in this tournament?

[Valkyrie of the Human Record]: Yes. I need a human representative and someone with exceptional combat capabilities. You are a...possible candidate to participate in the tournament.

[Lucky Devil]: Well, aren't you desperate? I can understand since it's the fate of the human race. But... what do I get out of this?

[Valkyrie of the Human Record]: You save my world's human race, that makes you privileged to get almost whatever you want in my world. Money, weapons, forbidden knowledge, women, almost anything to the point that I can even introduce you to one of my sisters.

[Lucky Devil]: Hmm. Not so fast. How about we make a contract, a very special one that I made, so that both parties can benefit while also giving out a sort of... punishment when one of us doesn't fulfill the agreement.

[Valkyrie of the Human Record]: Alright. Let me see your proposal.

Zenkichi grinned, with cold sweat pouring out of his temple, gulping, he opened up the panel for the "Multiversal Contract System".

[Multiversal Contract System initializing...]

[Process completed, contract creation is now available for user's use.]

[What contract would you like to create?]

Zenkichi took a deep breath, closing eyes, considering his options, and in just a few minutes he started creating a contract for Brunhilde.

Honestly, never in a million years would he consider taking up an offer to fight gods, especially not in his current state! He wasn't that built yet! He would've straight up said no if he didn't have a plan in mind.

He knew that Humanity, in Brunhilde's world, would lose for the first two rounds but would win in the third and possibly more.

Brunhilde had said that he was just a possible candidate, a person only for the desperate time to use. So, will there be a desperate time for him to be called? Perhaps.

But the most important part, could he go to her universe? The answer is, a resounding no!

The Multiversal Chat-Group System has no option for him travel across world even if he wanted to!

So, even if Brunhilde was calling for him for help, Zenkichi still wouldn't be able to go to her to help her and fulfill his side of the contract. Making him bare the punishment of the contract system.

That is, if he doesn't take advantage of a loophole. But he still needed to be careful against her, she's at least a century year old demigod and had planned the whole Ragnarok thing for who knows how long.

[Lucky Devil]: I'm dm-ing you the contract.

Parties: Zenkichi Hitoyoshi, Brunhilde

For Zenkichi: You will answer Brunhilde's call for aid and participate in the tournament, Ragnarok, but you have the right to refuse if you're in danger or in a precarious situation in your home world.

For Brunhilde: When you call upon Zenkichi and he fulfills your request, you will grant him access to any forbidden knowledge, weapons, and items in your world; essentially granting him a wish. In addition, you will introduce him to one of your sisters of his choice. But this contract would be completed when you finish calling for him or you don't summon him at all.

Penalties for Breach of Contract:

If Zenkichi refuses to answer Brunhilde's call for aid when he is able to, he will lose a significant amount of his fighting capabilities and suffer great pain for a specified amount of time.

If Brunhilde fails to grant Zenkichi his wish or introduce him to one of her sisters, she will suffer a significant decrease in her power and will be unable to summon him again for a specified amount of time.

Both parties agree to the terms stated above and will abide by them.

After reviewing the contract, Brunhilde agreed to it and Zenkichi sent the agreement to the Multiversal Contract System to confirm the contract.

[Lucky Devil]: Alright. It's a done deal. I hope you're ready for what's to come, Brunhilde.

[Valkyrie of the Human Record]: I am always ready. Thank you for agreeing to the contract, Zenkichi. I will contact you when the time comes.

[Lucky Devil]: Looking forward to it. Signing off for now.

Zenkichi didn't saw any of their reactions. Instead, he was just heaving a sigh of relief.

"Haaa..."

He let out a long sigh as he slightly slid down against the wall, feeling a mix of excitement and apprehension. He had just agreed to fight against gods for the fate of humanity and made a contract with a Valkyrie.

'Well...my life just got more interesting. And it still isn't lunch.' He thought with a small, almost nervous smile.

He still needed to get to school.
