"Halt!" A couple of white knights stepped forward, raising their shields and swords. "You there! Identify yourselves before the presence of one of the Knights of the Round Table, Sir Lancelot!"
'Lancelot? No wonder he looked familiar, and based on the barren desert, this might be the sixth singularity; Divine Realm of the Round Table. Shit, this is the one where Saber became a Lancer and then into a hot mommy Goddess.'
Almost faded memories of his past life flashed in his mind, remembering the days it took to finish the whole Singularity. And to be honest, despite being the final boss, Lancer Arturia didn't strike much frustration and annoyance. Instead, it was always that cheating bitch Gawain. What with his broken sun gift.
But now, he didn't have to worry about that guy because of his Divine Authority as a God of the Sun. No matter if he got that gift from another God or something, in the end, it was just a mere "gift". Compared to a Divine Authority, it was nothing.
Then, another thought came to his mind.
'Uh, her spear couldn't insta kill me could it? I could remember that Caliburn had took out a few lives of Heracles, and her spear is said to be far more powerful; being the Spear of the End. Shit, it's been too long that I can't remember how powerful she was.'
Zenkichi and Brunhilde shared a look, not expecting to encounter such figures in this desolate land. Zenkichi stepped forward, raising his hands in a non-threatening manner.
"We mean no harm, we're just travelers who found ourselves in this place. Can you please provide us with some information? We seem to have been... left here unexpectedly."
The purple-clad knight stepped passed the white knights, his eyes narrowed, clearly suspicious of their presence. "Foreigners? No. This aura... you two, are servants?" his demeanor suddenly changed and the dark, malevolent sword in his hand gleamed as he charged at them.
'Brunhilde.' Zenkichi mentally said, going into a combat stance.
'Mm!' Brunhilde nodded, turning into a blinding light that enveloped Zenkichi's whole body.
Lancelot squinted his eyes in surprise from the flash of light but he didn't stop his charge. He swung his sword with impressive speed and precision, aiming to strike down the intruders. But just as his sword was about to make contact, a black gauntlet appeared in front of Zenkichi's face, blocking the attack. The force of the blow caused Zenkichi's hair to flutter in the wind.
Zenkichi narrowed his eyes, feeling the immense power behind Lancelot's strike through Brunhilde's gauntlets. He felt his arm shaking, shocking him.
After his fight with Kumagawa, Zenkichi had made it a habit to constantly keep his "The Iron" and Blut active; making it virtually impossible for anyone to pierce through his skin by anything. He was even using Brunhilde Völundr's form, anything less than a ultimate divine weapon could pierce through his defense.
Yet, the force of Lancelot's strike managed to shake him. It was clear that Lancelot possessed immense strength, rivaling even that of a God.
'Is this the power of a servant? No, is it their Gift?' Zenkichi quickly assessed the situation and realized that he needed to come up with a strategy to either defeat Lancelot or escape.
'Zenkichi, what's the plan?' Brunhilde asked
'I'll test him out for a bit. If I can't defeat him in a few moves, then we're getting out of here.'
'I understand, my Einherjar.'
The white knights were standing still, confident in their commander's capabilities. One of the suddenly noticed something's strange and spoke up.
"Huh? I-Is it me or, is the sun getting bigger?"
"Huh? What are you– Huh?! Y-You're right! Wait, if the sun is getting..."
"Is sir Gawain in the area?"
'Hm?' With his superhuman hearing, Lancelot clearly heard their muttering and momentarily glanced at the sun. 'Is Gawain here? That's unusual, he's never sent outside nor does he want to go out here.'
As they were all confused by the strange phenomena of the sun and wondered if Gawain was near them, they never saw the strange look on Zenkichi, fiery flames seemed to dance in his eyes.
[Divine Authority: Sun]
[Divinity]
Clenching his gauntlet fist, a burst of extremely fiery flames pushed Lancelot back, creating distance between them. Without any hesitation, Zenkichi then used Hirenkyaku, boosted with Brunhilde's Völundr form, he disappeared in a flash and appeared in front of Lancelot, his left arm pulled back.
Dazed and enveloped in divine flames of the sun, Lancelot was momentarily caught off guard by Zenkichi's sudden burst of power. Before he could react, Zenkichi unleashed a powerful punch directly towards Lancelot's torso.
The force behind the blow was immense, causing a shockwave to ripple through the air. Lancelot was sent hurtling backwards, crashing into a nearby sand dune with a loud thud.
Zenkichi quickly followed after him, fiery orange flames circulated around his legs as he sprinted towards him, jumped, and dropkicked him in mid-air. The impact of the dropkick sent Lancelot tumbling further into the sand, creating a small crater upon impact.
Lancelot spat out a mouthful of blood, feeling some of his ribs had been cracked from the force of the blows.
Zenkichi didn't give him any respite and started stomping on the Knight of the Lake, no mercy. There was no emotion on his face as he tried stomping a man to death.
He wasn't a hero or a good person. Zenkichi is a somewhat realistic person that would want to get rid of his enemies in the first meeting and not let them grow.
For the people he loves and cares, he'll do anything to protect them.
"Arondight Overload."
The sharp dark blade of Arondight suddenly flashed across his eyes, a chilling sense of danger ran down Zenkichi's spine and he jumped back.
"What was that...?" He muttered, noticing a blue light under his chin. He checked his throat with his hand, and found some blood on his palm.
'Did I–' Suddenly a system screen momentarily appeared in his eyes, leaving him in shock disbelief.

'I died?! How!?'
While Zenkichi was processing that he had somehow died. Lancelot grunted, rising to his feet, he used his sword as a support while he clutched his chest where he had been struck. Blood trickled from the corner of his mouth, but his eyes burned with a fierce determination.
"Impossible. Although I've merely used a fraction of my Noble Phantasm, it should have been enough to kill you. You, who are you? Someone with similar blessings to sir Gawain, and with a powerful body to the point of it being almost impenetrable? There are very few people in history that fit that description." Lancelot managed to stand upright, his breathing ragged but defiant. "I may have underestimated you, but don't think this battle is over. I, Lancelot, the Knight of the Lake, will not be defeated so easily!"
Zenkichi, still in shock from his sudden death, stared at Lancelot with a mix of surprise and determination. He had underestimated the power of a servant, but he wasn't about to back down now. This battle was far from over.
Vinstri Mund ór Stál(Left Hand of Steel)
A ray of blue light crackled around his left gauntlet and a 1.5 meter long katana appeared, he tightly gripped the sword and went into a stance.
Lancelot narrowed his eyes and tightly held Arondight in his grasp, feeling a familiar sense of fear from Zenkichi.
Death
'Whatever sword techniques he's going to use, it's certainly going to be something that would kill me. He's coming at me with the full intention of killing me!' He took a stance, and a gleam of resolution flashed across his eyes.
"...Before we battle, servant, may I ask you and your partner of what your names are?" There was a brief pause before he clarified, "As a knight, I want to know the people who I am dueling to the death."
"I just wanted some directions, is that so much to ask?" Zenkichi grumbled and cracked his neck. "Alright then, Lancelot. If you want a fight, then we'll give you one. The name's Zenkichi Hitoyoshi, and this here is my partner, Brunhilde. Now, you ready?" His mouth was then covered by a metallic mask.
Lancelot smiled, "Very well, Zenkichi Hitoyoshi and Brunhilde. Prepare yourselves, for I, Sir Lancelot, shall give you a battle worthy of the Knights of the Round Table!" Lancelot raised his sword, ready to clash with Zenkichi and Brunhilde once more.
The two combatants stood there, a tense silence hanging in the air. The desert landscape around them seemed to fade away as they focused solely on each other.
The knights that had accompanied Lancelot wanted to help him out but for some reason, they couldn't. As if the moment they interrupted their fight, they would die by their hands.
This was a battle of honor and respect between fighters.
And in that moment, as the sun's rays reflected on both blades, the battle began. With Zenkichi taking the lead, kicking up the sand as he disappeared in a speed of flash. He reappeared by Lancelot's left side, the long katana in his hand slicing through the air with precision. Lancelot swiftly moved to parry the attack, their swords clashing with a resounding clang.
The two warriors moved in perfect synchronization, trading blows and dodging each other's attacks with uncanny speed and skill. Lancelot's swordsmanship was as expected of a Knight of the Round Table, precise and deadly. But Zenkichi's reflexes and raw power were not to be underestimated either.
Blue flames flickered into existence, flowing through Zenkichi's blade. He parried off Lancelot's sword strike that would cut his head off and went into a certain stance, drawing a quick calm breath, Zenkichi's pupils turned red shaped into Celtic Crosses.
"Hiken... Tsubame Gaeshi!"
Three simultaneous slashes came into existence around Lancelot, each aimed at different angles and trajectories. Lancelot's eyes widened in surprise as he tried to evade the attacks, but it was impossible.
But if he can't dodge it, then he could deflect it!
'Tch! I can only deflect one!' He inwardly cursed and hoped that the cut wouldn't pierce deep into his armor or be too severe. He then changed the grip of his sword and deflected the most fatal slash; the one that would slice off his neck.
Blood spilled, two horrendous cuts appeared on his body. The first one cut deep into the left side of his rib cage, while the second one grazed his right hip, leaving a trail of blood and the smell of burnt flesh. Lancelot gritted his teeth, the pain searing through his body.
"You...you're stronger than I expected," Lancelot spoke through clenched teeth. "But don't think for a moment that I'll be defeated so easily–"
But Zenkichi didn't give him a chance to recover, letting go of his long katana, he immediately followed up with a flurry of powerful strikes and kicks. Lancelot defended against each attack with his sword, but it was clear that he was being pushed back.
They exchanged blow after blow, neither giving an inch. The force behind their strikes caused shockwaves to ripple through the air, creating small craters in the ground with each clash of their swords.
Sword on sword, fist on sword. Zenkichi was clearly confused on how little damage Lancelot was taking whenever he blocks his attack with his sword.
Even when he unleashes a wave of flames towards him, as long as he had his sword before him the flames didn't hurt him.
'Is it the sword? But, how?' Zenkichi wondered.
In legend, Arondight: The Unfading Light of the Lake, is a holy sword wielded by Lancelot that is the counterpart of King Arthur's Excalibur. It bears a similar design to that of Excalibur, carved with Fairy Letters to show that it was a Divine Construct not forged by mortal hands. It is a limitless sword capable of receiving any attack without taking damage that shines much like the water of the Lake. Which why he wasn't taking any damage when he uses the sword as a shield.
It was given only to someone who could be exalted as the "perfect knight", the strongest, bravest and truest knight of an era, which signifies the unrivaled Lancelot out of all those who sat at the Round Table of Camelot. Sadly, due to his rampage at the last parts of his life and the "sins" he caused in this place, the power of the sword had dwindled.
The battle continued, the clash of steel and the sound of impact filling the air. Lancelot fought valiantly, his determination unwavering. But Zenkichi's raw strength and the power of Brunhilde's gauntlets proved to be too much.
With a final, powerful strike, Zenkichi sent Lancelot flying backward, crashing into a sand dune with a loud thud.
....
AN: So, a bit of problem here. Remember that I factory reset my phone because of some problems when it fell into water and caused a lot of data to be gone? Specifically, FGO and it made me do a redo? Yeah, so, I haven't reached the sixth singularity yet(still at Oceanus) and we're already here.
The problem here, is that I only have a general knowledge of the events that went into the sixth and seventh singularity; I ain't reading wiki nor am I watching someone else's gameplay, that's boring as hell. So forgive me when I make some mistake into the FGO lore here soon.
Btw, still no Xianyun or Nahida. But I got C3 Gaming! He's pretty fun to use. If I don't get either of them, I'm hoping for a C6 Gaming cause I only have Xianling as my fire main.
Better dump 1 power stone when you read this!
