Chapter 3: Journey Starts 

I had only 1 goal from the start of the journey. I need to catch up to tanjiro and meet him when he give demon slaying exam in the mountain.

I was really wanted to save tanjiro family but that would totally mess up the story line and my coming all the way here to this world would be pointless.

So my second best option was to meet tanjiro in his journey and help him though out the jouney to grow stronger and if he is not ready by the end then I will do the world a favour and save their sorry asses by taking care of Muzan myself.

To be honest I might be able to defeat muzan right now if I use 8 inner gate and hino kami kagura but as god said that I should only personally take action if tanjiro can't take care of the guy and not to mention there is also the possibility that I might lose because I don't really know how strong Muzan is right now.

Its been hundreds of year since he got his ass handed to him by Yoriichi any way so I should take caution and first analyse how strong he really is.

Beside that though, I am currently going toward the mountain where the demon slayer exam is held this year.

I obviously have 2 goals here. One I need became a real demon slayer and get the colour changing nikirin sword and two I need to make contact with tanjiro and establish a friendly relationship with him.

I also really want to start killing some demon already. I mean I have been training and torturing my body for this and even after 7 years of hard training I have not kill even a single demon.

God I really hate this world. There are no fast speed vehicle in here, I am walking toward this mountain for days now and it only now I am starting seeing the mountain.

I'll say it about time, because if not then I would have really doubted my navigation skills and authenticity of all those old people who I ask for direction.

Anyways by tomorrow the exam is going to start and I can't wait.

[NEXT DAY]

[Tanjiro POV]

'This is the reason I have been practicing for last six months. I need to pass this examination so I can save nazuko.' thought Tanjiro as we make his way toward the mountain.

As he enter the examination area he find himself surrounded by many people who are just like him was their to take demon slayer examination.

There were several people their but his attention was attracted by one loud mouth boy who had many scars in his face. He was quite arrogant and rude, talking with the 2 girls who was 'by his understanding at lest' was their Invigilator.

He did not give any more attention to his nonsense and look who else is taking the exam.

He saw a boy who is constantly looking around like he is afraid of some thing and also muttering something incomprehensible to him.

There was also a beautiful girl with pretty butterfly jewellery in her hair.

Before he can start appreciating her beauty he saw a same scar face guy flying from in front of him from the place he was standing and trash talking to those two little girls to the tree on other side of the area.

He snap his neck instinctively towards the, now unconscious boy who hit the tree hard enough to leave a big dent and then he look other way to find the culprit.

"I said stop shouting idiot." said the blond with rubbing his fist against his other hand.

Tanjiro understand what happen and he wanted to scold the blond but after thinking how the scar face boy was talking to the 2 little kids, he did not say anything.

He was still curious about the person who can send the scar face boy flying but for now he focus on this the exam and did not indulge in with the blond kid.

While this was happening and tanjiro was thinking about intense looking blond. There was another blond who almost had a heart attack because of what happen just now.

[Zenistsu POV]

Oh My GOD why this is happening to me.

I don't want to be here, and did that scary looking guy just now was send flying by other blond guy.

Why did he hit the boy, how did he send him flying by just one punch.

No no what I should be asking is why I am here among people who can send people flying with a single punch.

But is this really that bad ?

This guy is strong I can stay with him during the exam, He can save me if there is any demon who want to eat me.

One minute what if this guy leave me in the middle of jungle or run away when demons really come.

Oh no what if he fight with his fist like just right now, we can't kill demons with our bare hand can we?

What should I do.

"hey you there, you doing okay." said the boy who zenistsu was thinking about, making him jump in the air because of the sudden jolt of sound came from his back.

[Senjuro POV]

What was the name of this scar face boy.

I don't remember, He look very similar to the current wind hashira.

God why his yelling is the first think in the morning I am hearing, Well tanjiro is not here yet I need to make sure to understand every one power and skill here to see how far I am from them.

I would not need to do this if only I could have spar with my big brother but he is not home for so long that I no longer have any idea about the power scaling between me and him.

Last time I fought him was when I was 12 and that also with a lots of weighted clothes and without any breathing style so others don't see me using a unknown breathing style.

"hey can you please stop yelling, other are getting disturb here not to mention I personally don't like people yelling in front of my face."

The guy did not even look at my way and keep shouting about his blade and starting the exam.

"hey man can you hear me there is no reason to shout, let talk like civilize people here" I said again, getting a little agitated now.

He was still not going on without listening to me.

Now I remember why I did not like this boy from the anime. He is the type who understand fist better then words.

But now I think about it why not see what a little bit of breathing technique and chakra infuse body can do.

I don't want to harm the guy a lot so let not use a lot of strength.

Maybe 10 to 15 percent is good enough.

So without any more contemplating I breath and infuse a little bit of chakra in my fist and swing my arm toward the scar face boy with the intention of giving him a bruise and getting his attention but some thing quite different but more amazing happen.

The scar face boy went flying toward the tree line and with a Thud sound make a dent in the tree trunk and then fall down in the ground unconscious.

It took me few seconds to understand what happen and my first reaction was simple. I whistle and make a mental note, not to use chakra if I am against a human.

While I was thinking this every one was now looking at me like I am a zoo animal just release for their entertainment or to kill them If some of their facial expression is any thing to go by.

I make a B-line toward the first person I recognize to get out from the spot and to shake off every once attention.

That person was just happens to be Zenistu who was now murmuring some thing under his breath and was looking wearily of some thing.

Knowing his personality I know he is the type who can forget the outside world if he is thinking about something with intensity, I shouted to draw his attention.

"hey you there, you doing okay." I ask him with loud voice.

He jump like he get caught by a demon while his pants was down.

I shrug at his antics and started look over on the other side to see tanjiro sneaking glances at me and the scar face boy.

While this was happening the 2 little girls announce the starting of the exam and ever one started going into the woods.

I wanted to talk to Tanjiro but reframe from doing so right now and make my way toward the wood so I can start cutting demons and also to test my own abilities for real for the first time.
