2 Years Later (1)

*Knock Knock*

Someone knocked at the door and being the only person near it, I walked to it and opened it.

I looked up at the tall figure slightly causing my neck to hurt. It was Ithil.

We meet him again a year ago in another city called Alabast it was a nice place but nothing compared to Endel.

When my mother saw him walking on the street, she smiled and called him over.

She invited him to dinner to repay him for the 5 golden coins. She used half of it to pay off debts and rebuild the house.

Now the house was twice the size it originally was.

"Hello Kayden, How are you?"

"I'm doing good."

I started speaking last year which surprised my parents making them think I was a genius since I also learned how to walk a couple of days later.

To be honest I could've probably done them both earlier but it would look very weird if I did.

I looked behind Ithil and saw his daughter hiding behind his leg.

"Good morning Tess."

I waved my hands but she never replied.

"Tess doesn't be rude, say hi back."

Ithil told Tess but she shook her head at him making me laugh inwardly.

We knew each other for a year but she hardly talks and when she does it's either a yes or a no or she's asking about something.

She was 4 years old, and her blonde hair that was barely to her neck was now hanging down to her back.

"Oh Ithil, how are you doing?"

Anne who came out of her room after hearing the small talk between me and Ithil greeted Ithil and then slowly walked towards him and bent down to greet Tess.

Ithil moved to the side, revealing Tess's whole body instead of her head.

Anne opened her arms wide waiting for Tess to enter her embrace for a hug.

Tess slowly walked into Anne's open arms and hugged her. I was always confused about how my mother was able to get Tess to do things like this.

A little bit after Anne's entrance John also came from his room and greeted Ithil and Tess.

She also had a cold reply to John, just like me he didn't get anything to come out of her. It just looked like she liked women more than men.

Letting Ithil and Tess in, Anne leads them to the table. When they sat down, Anne started to cook for us.

After finishing the delicious food Anne cooked Ithil told Tess to go play outside since it was going to be boring if she sat down doing nothing then Anne also told me to keep her company so I headed outside with her.

When we got there I just stared at her to understand everything that went through her head but in her eyes, it looked like I was looking at her oddly so her face showed visible disgust.

"Eh, what was that for."

I spotted her face making me rebuke her.

"You were looking at me weirdly."

She crossed her arms and turned around. I looked at this scene with a blank face. It made me remember some unwanted memories.

"Also, why do you never answer me when I say hi?"

I asked her a question that I was very curious about.

She turned her head around and turned it back again. "Your scary."

That answer surprised me, I thought it was going to be about her hating men due to past trauma.

"Then tell me, what did I do that scared you?"

She turned around and then tried thinking about something.

"I remember. One time when you were under a tree, you did a weird pose and when you finished you did a creepy smile."

That was when I was meditating but I only meditate when I'm alone so her seeing me meant one thing.

"Tess by any chance… we're you spying on me."

I made a joking expression and stared at her.

"N-No, I was just walking around and saw you."

Her face became red and she turned around instantly. This scene made me laugh since I knew she was lying.

There was no way a 4-year-old would just walk into the forest for no reason. Even though I was only 2 but I had a mental age of 1,000.

Recently I found out that it's been 1,000 years since my unknown reincarnation. I tried looking into books but found nothing with my name in it.

I also awakened my mana core a week ago but the only downside is that I can only use the worse magic, light magic.

All it does is create a ball of light. There's advanced light magic, but my body wouldn't be able to handle it.

"I'm leaving."

She stomped her way into the forest and this made me think that maybe she wasn't spying on me but instead, she was just a weirdo.

"Go ahead I was going inside anyways."

In reality, I followed her and now the table has turned, I was spying on her. I did this just so she wouldn't get lost.

But the thing I saw next made me happy that I followed her into the forest because she was using magic.
