"Stupid senile old man." The morning, after Naruto woke up from his coma, he was slowly making his way towards the Ninja academy while cursing the Hokage.
He was very displeased with the fact that he had to go back to the academy, but no matter what he said Hiruzen didn't back down and was adamant on him finishing it, considering how close to graduation he was.
Not only did he have to wake up early to go there, but he also couldn't even wear his signature orange jumpsuit anymore. Even though it was baggy, it didn't fit him anymore, and he looked weird while wearing it. Due to that, he was wearing a black t-shirt with the Uzumaki swirl in the middle and black shorts.
While walking towards the academy, he was trying to remember what he could about his classmates. The most notable things that came to his mind were that he had a rivalry with Sasuke Uchiha and that he had a crush on Sakura Haruno. He remembered a few of his other classmates, but those are the ones that stuck out to him.
Nevertheless, he wasn't happy that he had to spend so much time with 'kids'. Yeah, he might look like a kid right now, but he was at least twenty-five years old or even thirty-seven if you combine both his lives. Not that he had any life experience other than training and what he was taught by Zeref and Mavis since those are the only people he had contact in the other world.
Before he knew it he managed to reach his classroom and made his way inside. Most of the kids were talking and socializing with each other, but the moment he entered, all of them, except the one that was sleeping, turned their attention to him.
Surprise was written on their faces, considering how they haven't seen him for almost for a month. The fact that he was on time and he wasn't asking Sakura on a date or asking Sasuke for a fight was also quite astonishing to them.
They were all used to the loud Naruto that screams that he will become Hokage. Hell, he wasn't even wearing his signature orange jumpsuit. They were also surprised that he looked quite fit, and he even looked slightly taller, which they weren't sure if it's true or because they haven't seen him for so long.
'I'm so happy that he is back.' Hinata thought to herself while staring at her crush. The first time he didn't appear in class, she got really worried about Naruto, and when he didn't appear the following day as well, she got really scared that something might have happened to him. Well, something did happen to him since she found out that he fell into a coma out of the blue. Thankfully he is back now.
'That weakling is back, hopefully, he doesn't challenge me to a fight again.' Sasuke hoped something changed with the weakling and he finally learned his place.
'That idiot returned. Let's hope he invites me on a date. What am I thinking, I don't want to go on a date with him.' Sakura wasn't sure exactly what to think about him. Despite what she told him regularly, she liked getting invited to go on a date, since he was boosting her confidence. Ever since she was little she was insecure about her looks, especially about her forehead, and having someone constantly ask you out, meant that you are beautiful, right?
'What's wrong with him?!' Kiba was barely able to look at Naruto, and couldn't stop trembling. His animal instincts were in overdrive and they were screaming at him to go as far away from him as possible. He always had the feeling that there was something dangerous about him, but now it felt like he was a monster.
Naruto walked to the back of the classroom and found himself a spot as far away from his classmates as possible. He wasn't really in the mood to socialize with them and wasn't even sure how to do so. For them, it has been twenty-five days, but for him, it's been twenty-five years. He didn't even remember some of the kids in the classroom.
A few minutes later Iruka walked into the room as well. Thankfully, none of his classmates tried starting a conversation with him before that. Unfortunately, they were whispering things about him and glancing back at him. It didn't help that due to his enhanced hearing he was able to hear what they were talking about.
Surprisingly a few of the girls, which he didn't even know their names, were talking that he didn't look that bad. Nevertheless, it always ended with how much better Sasuke looked.
"Glad to have you back Naruto," Iruka told him with a smile.
"You have no idea how 'happy' I am to be back here," Naruto said, wishing he was anywhere but in in the academy right now.
"Now I know that you missed quite some time, but I spoke with the Hokage, and he arranged for a few extra lessons only for you, so you can get back on track and ready for the graduation exam." Iruka smiled at him. Happy that he can help his student.
"I'm soooo 'happy' to hear that Iruka. I can't wait for the extra lessons." The day couldn't be any worse for Naruto. He was hoping that his specialized training might start, but noo he has to go to school and then learn the stupid clone Jutsu.
"Without further ado let's begin today's lesson," Iruka said to the class since his job as a teacher was to teach everyone, and not simply focus on one student.
'WHY?! WHY?! WHY?! I don't want to be here. Please someone, something please help me.' Naruto screamed inwardly hoping something happens that gets him out of this place. Unfortunately for him, he was forced to stay for the next six hours in the academy.
