Chapter 9

All Might's POV:

As I sit on the bench waiting for Izuku, I open up my phone's lock screen to look at the time. '6:28 pm, he should be here any minute.' I think to myself, I sigh rethinking everything that has been happening over the past few weeks since meeting Izuku. Why am I even considering giving this kid one for all, I barely know him. My thoughts get cut off by soft footsteps coming from behind me.

"All Might..?" I turn my head around to see Young Izuku walking towards me. As I give him one of my signature smiles, I see him take a deep breath in. "So I'm guessing you want me to explain myself ha..?" I nod, not telling him the other reason I wanted to meet him.

"That would be nice."

"I see..." Izuku says quietly "Well for starters, in my world, there are no quirks. My Mum is a nurse, and my Dad stays home in his lab all day, and a couple of weeks ago I wanted to see what he has been doing all of these years. He never told us and I just wanted to know, turns out it was a dimensional portal then I ended up here." I sigh trying to take all the information.

"T-that's a lot of information to take in Young Midoriya... How are you coping with all of this?" He sighs and looks at me and shrugs before looking off into the beach that was covered in trash. "I wanted to talk to you about something else, very important to me..." I look up at the sky, reconsidering my whole life choices. "I have power as you know, but mine isn't normal... This power isn't mine, I got it from someone else. I see potential in you, and if you want to be a hero, I will give you my power, if you wish..."

Silence fills the air as I look back at him, his eyes starring at me shining with the brightness of a thousand suns. "You would do that?!" He asks in a careful but excited tone. I nod, and his smile grows. He then reaches out for his backpack and opens the front pocket to pull out a book. "I've been doing some research on heroes and added in some information about a lot of you in my notebook!" He smiles brightly as he flips to my own page in his book. "See, you were the first person I spoke to here and you're really cool! I wanted to make the first few pages about you, I even went into some old videos and some of your first appearances, and I want to ask something."

"What is it?"

I say to him with a smile. "Why don't you show your skinny form in any videos I find?" I get taken back for a moment or two before I calm down enough to answer him.

"Well, only a few people know about this form, it's how I escape all of the media and cameras, plus this is my original look. So do you accept this power as your own?" I ask him, and he just smiles, a smile that reminded me of my master, the positivity and calmness I get from him is amazing, he will become a great hero, I'm sure of it...
