Seeing Rukia

Ichigo returned to the dining room and found all the rest of the people gathered in the dining room. Seeing the hustle and bustle in the small dining room Ichigo's heart lightened. It had been a long while since he had been in such an environment.

Kisuke was just fanning himself as he waited for the food to be served, Tessai was busy with serving the finished food on the table, Ururu was helping Tessai with the task, and Jinta just sat on his seat as he made fun of Ururu from time to time.

There was also an unexpected person there, Rukia. She was sitting beside Urahara and was patiently waiting for the food to be served.

Ichigo attracted everyone's attention the moment he entered the room. "You're here, Come sit down," Kisuke said while pointing towards a seat.

After Ichigo had taken his seat and everyone else had settled down, he continued "Alright, everyone this is Ichigo Kurosaki and he would be visiting our shop regularly from now on. Why don't we all give him an introduction till the time Yoruichi comes? I'll start,"

Kisuke in a relaxed manner gave his introduction as the owner of the shop. After him, it was Tessai's turn. One by one everyone present, Jinta, Ururu and Rukia gave their introduction to Ichigo while saying a few extra words of welcome to him.

As Rukia was giving her introduction Kisuke was observing Ichigo's face discreetly. After the introductions were done the atmosphere became lively and a few minutes later Yoruichi also came in.

She was wearing her signature black under-shirt over which she was wearing an orange over-shirt with a white strap on her shoulders. Below, she was wearing black stretch pants which didn't hinder her movements.

With the coming of Yoruichi, the dinner finally started as everyone started attacking the food after saying their prayers. The food was delicious as always. Youruichi started complimenting Tessai on his cooking skills and how after she would find each day difficult to go through if she didn't taste his food at least once.

Rukia didn't say much and just continued on eating the food while looking at the commotion at the dining table. Thinking over it Ichigo thought that it made sense for her to act this way because as a member of a noble clan she needed to act in this manner.

It was only because of the series of encounters she had experienced with Ichigo in the original storyline that she had opened up with him enough to act normally around him. That was not so in the case of the present scenario.

After a while, the table that was filled with food was left with only empty plates on it. Everyone had their fill and were all ready to have a good night's rest. Kisuke suggested Ichigo to stay the night there but Ichigo gave an excuse that his family members would start worrying about him if he didn't come back and bid him goodbye.

On his way back to his house he crossed paths with Ishida. Both of them were walking towards the opposite direction so it was normal for them to meet each other. Ichigo rose his eyebrows and gave him a nod to acknowledge his presence. Ishida did the same as the two continued on their way.

By the time he returned home, it was around nine in the evening. His father and sister had already finished having their dinner and were now enjoying some family time as they watched a particular reality show on television.

Sensing his arrival both Karin and Yuzu frowned upon him for not attending the dinner whereas Isshin gave him an understanding smile. After drinking a glass of water, he went upstairs to freshen up before finally laying on his bed.

The rays of the early sun entered Ichigo's room through the gaps in between the curtains and fell on his sweat-filled body. Ichigo was currently performing a headstand on the ground while taking support from the wall. He was currently meditating in that position while feeling the small increments in his spiritual pressure.

Around thirty minutes later Ichigo finally stood up on the ground and stretched his body as he slowly recovered from all the lightheadedness he got from being on his head for so long. The start of the day was usual and after eating his breakfast he went to school.

On the way, he met Chad and greeted him by wording a signature 'Yo' from his mouth. The two of them talked about their class routine today as they walked towards the school building. The classroom was still filling up with students so after arriving in the class they both sat on their seats and waited for the homeroom teacher to arrive.

The rest of the students, which included Tatsuki and Orihime soon arrived in the classroom and soon after the teacher also did. The class started like usual after the attendance. While paying attention to the lecture Ichigo's mind drifted in a different direction.

'From the way things are going I'm confident that I'll slowly become strong enough to wreck the asses of some major characters…but shouldn't I also focus on other things?... Like how would I be earning money after finishing school? After becoming so powerful I don't want to work as a normal salaryman…I won't be able to look at myself in the mirror if that happens.' Ichigo thought to himself.

He wanted to make money quickly but had no clue where to start. After thinking about it for a while he finally decided to think over it more later on. He believed that if he was looking for some answers then he'll receive them sooner or later by external or internal means.

The first half of the classes soon got over and it was time for the lunch break. The lunch break was thirty minutes long so after enjoying his meal on the rooftop Ichigo found Orihime sitting by herself in the classroom. He clearly remembered that she was with Tatsuki earlier so he walked towards her and asked "Yo Inoue, where's Tatsuki?"

"Hello Kurosaki kun, She went to the washroom just now. You had something to talk with her?" Orihime asked.

"Nah, was just asking. By the way, you remember that black cat right?" Ichigo asked her.

Hearing him Orihime nodded like an obedient child implying that she could never forget that. Seeing this Ichigo continued "The cat asked me to bring you for training from today onwards so I'll be coming to take you there in the afternoon."

"Training? What kind of training?" Orihime asked with confusion written clearly on her face.

"You'll know when you get there," Ichigo said with a smile and went towards his seat as the break was over and the students were taking their seats one by one.
