I smirked, thinking about the new rules. It was a trap for a very greedy fool like him. If he wanted the data so much, he had to find it himself, and when he found it, I swore I would never let him go. As soon as he said he won and got what he wanted…
He would become bait for the sharks immediately.
“Game on.” I said nothing more. I was just telling him that the game had started. I walked away without caring how Richard would react. What I did care about was whether he was brave enough to risk his life. I believed that he had his ways of getting information about the megalodons, even if he could steal only a quick glance.
My invitation to the game did not mean that I wanted to put my family at risk or anything…
I just wanted to see how evil Richard could be to me.
I already had a plan in mind.
