As the morning sunlight filtered through the windows, casting a warm glow over the dining room, Lilith sat at the table, mechanically picking at her breakfast. Her mind was elsewhere, still reeling from the events of the previous night.
Despite her attempts to mask her emotions, Sicily couldn't help but notice the dark circles under her eyes, a telltale sign of a sleepless night.
"Lilith, dear, are you feeling alright?" Sicily's gentle voice cut through the silence, concern etched on her features as she peered at the young woman.
Lilith forced a small smile, shaking her head slightly. "Oh, I'm fine, Sicily. Just a bit tired from staying up late last night."
Sicily cocked her head to the side. "Really? Your eyes looked like they were sore from crying…"
