Barbara and Robin vs. Killer Croc

The Killer Croc ran to the shore with a ferocious expression and lunged at Robin, completely ignoring Barbara, seemingly undoing her belt but actually grabbing a whip.

Robin was secretly delighted when he saw the Killer Croc charging towards him without caring about anything else. His joy wasn't because he found true love, but because he was afraid the Croc would go after Barbara.. Whether he could handle Killer Croc or not was another matter. He just didn't want this guy to overwhelm his fragrant girlfriend. Although this guy had been soaking in the lake for a while, he still carried a strong stench.

'Just harm me alone if you want!' That's the true reflection of Robin's current state of mind.

His throat was sore from shouting, and now that they had finally lured him out, they couldn't let him escape again. Signaling Barbara to cut off his retreat, Robin moved the battlefield a few steps away from the shore.

"Felicity, are they here yet?" Barbara asked, observing her boyfriend once again engaged in a fight with the big guy. Robin's condition was no longer as good as it was at the beginning. Considering he had been standing under the sun cursing for half an hour without resting, while the Killer Croc was as comfortable in the water as if it were his home, fully rested and even having eaten two fishes; he had regained most of his strength.

With one side gaining and the other side losing, the currently mentally exhausted Robin could only do his best to dodge the opponent's attacks, occasionally retaliating with little effect.

"Oh, we're already here. We were afraid of scaring him off if we all rushed out, we'll reveal ourselves at a critical moment." Thea's voice came through the earpiece. In fact, she and Selina had arrived a while ago, but they felt that the couple's cursing had a lot of power, so they hid nearby and didn't dare to come out.

Thea did indeed have a killer move in mind, with her Glider and bow already prepared. As long as the Killer Croc showed a weakness, she would let this guy know how a refrigerator works.

Selina, on the other hand, didn't care. She had always been someone who enjoyed watching a good show, having been a villain herself in her earlier years. She had recently turned over a new leaf, but she couldn't help but revel in watching this Killer Croc. She didn't think he could escape, so she happily hid in the bushes and watched.

She didn't care, but Barbara couldn't afford not to. Watching her boyfriend struggle more and more in the fight, she picked up her belt, which was actually a long whip, and joined the fray.

Thea was interested in seeing her skills, as they would need to coordinate for a while. However, after watching, she wasn't disappointed, just felt a little bit let down.

For some reason, Barbara had put a lot of effort into using the whip. It was evident that she really liked this kind of mid-range weapon very much, continuously using her agility to move around in the fight. This fighting style seemed a bit too clever, and while it would be effective against ordinary people or minor enemies, and it could even be very efficient and beautiful. The whip had great striking power when swung open.

However, once she encountered a slightly stronger opponent, her flaws would be exposed. If she was only at this level, Thea could defeat her without using any weapons, and her chances of winning would be extremely high.

Among their group of friends, Catwoman was currently the strongest, having been honed in life-and-death battles on the streets for many years. Her morally ambiguous style of doing things had multiplied her combat effectiveness exponentially. It should be noted that she had hardly received any training; she hadn't attended a single serious classroom session like Thea, and all her martial arts skills were honed in actual combat.

Robin was slightly less skilled. Batman placed too much importance on this successor, teaching him all his proud techniques. However, Robin's physique was comparatively weaker than Batman, and many of the moves were not suitable for his body condition. Perhaps he was also aware of this issue, so he artificially shifted his skills towards agility and nimbleness, making him look a bit out of place now.

Barbara was even worse, at the level of a sidekick hero. Without making major adjustments, her achievements in life would be limited.

Just as Thea was seriously pondering the situation, Felicity's voice came through again, "Don't just fight, keep cursing too. What if he runs away? I'll keep reading."

Keep cursing? The young couple exchanged a glance, both seeing the anticipation in each other's eyes. Well, why not? Since Felicity was doing the reading, they were just repeating it. It had become a reflex action; they didn't even have to think about it. While their mouth continued to curse, their body kept on fighting, without any interference.

In fact, at this point, Killer Croc was already thinking about running away. Although he didn't have Spider-Man's spider sense, his atavistic transformation had strengthened his sixth sense to some extent. Although he only saw two enemies, he always had a bad feeling in his heart.

Just as he was about to go back to continue eating fish,he noticed the couple continuing to curse. With their singing-like harmonious voices, his previously diminished anger surged up again.

"You guys never stop, do you?! Don't you understand the principle of leaving a way out for yourself?!"

Ignoring his own embarrassing lack of vocabulary, he opened his mouth wide and retorted back at them.

Felicity in the earpiece also started to put in effort. She specifically picked out those segments related to crocodiles to read aloud.  In just a while, she had finished describing the process of making crocodile skin bags, and now she was describing how to cook crocodile meat more scientifically and nutritionally.

While Robin and Barbara didn't have to think much and their combat effectiveness remained largely unaffected, Killer Croc became more enraged as he listened. Although he still believed himself to be human, over time, the social rejection from human society had led to a certain level of identification with crocodiles.

Listening to Robin talk about all kinds of skinning and cooking methods, which were so disharmonious, he relaxed his attack on Barbara. In fact, she was agile like a rabbit, jumping around, and Killer Croc couldn't lay a hand on her. Since he couldn't hit her, he ignored Barbara and threw a barrage of punches towards Robin.

Robin's energy consumption was already very high, and facing such a fierce onslaught, he could only barely hold his ground.

Barbara couldn't just watch her boyfriend being beaten, but her attacking power was really limited. She could only swing a whip around, entangling it around Killer Croc's legs, hoping to use her own strength to hold him back and buy some time for Robin to regroup.
