27: Nodes

[Do you wish to analyse the meditation Technique and explore the nodes? Y/N]

" Abby can actually analyse meditation technique?" A joyful look rose on Wade's face. But thinking about it, the answer was quite obvious.

As Abby was from an advanced future and an A.I.chip that could analyse many records and experiments this much should be expected.

"Abby, create an autonomous folder for the meditation technique" Wade ordered.

[An autonomous file has been created for the meditation technique data to be analysed or not?] Abby prompted with a window.

"Begin analysing!"

[In the process of analysing! Progress: 0.11%] Abby showed the current state.

"This crystal ball seems to input the information directly into the apprentice brains in the dream format, but the method is a little too crude and it does not care if you remember it completely or not. But Abby is able to defragment and store it directly in the memory bank, and is even able to aid by analysing the process!"

Wade indifferently compared the disparities between the two.

While Abby was taking its time analysing the meditation technique, Wade had started to clean his room and connecting the centrifuge to the power output to start making his solution of NH11.

It took Abby approximately 34 minutes to completely analyse the meditation technique and come with the hypothesis, which it showed to Wade.

"So, according to Abby's conjecture, our mind is like a barren field which has to be irrigated with Mana essence, for this pipelines have to be installed at specific points which are the nodes which have been described in the meditation technique.

But as everybody's mind is different the lines which have to be built and the nodes which have to be connected are different for everybody. So the starting point for me and for another Apprentice will be totally different.

Which will thus result in different nodes being created at different intervals. For example, the first node, which I have to create maybe the 80th or maybe even the 90th node for somebody else.

Considering this it's more like a mathematical graph with its x, y, and z-axis forming a 3D graph in my mind

With Abby's help as it has become part of my soul, it is much easier for me to analyse and pinpoints the nodes which have to be started with.

So for me creating the nodes would be much easier than any other Apprentice, but maybe making the runes would be more difficult, but I will contemplate on that matter later.

For now, at least the nodes which causes the problem to some of the Apprentice has become easy for me due to Abby." considering all this Wade was quite happy, because the faster he became a Rank 5 apprentice the faster he could learn about how to become a Sage.

[The first node has been located, start location or not?] Abby prompted.

"Begin transmission!"

The node appeared as a 3D image and the patterns inside were extremely complicated, with no room for errors. The starting point from where the mana had to be channelled to the node itself was also shown by Abby.

To display this impression in any form, not only would the mentors to have outstanding training in the fine teaching, but the apprentices comprehension skills would also be put to the test.

Wade estimated that regular apprentice would need to spend a good number of days to even begin to locate a single basic node, before starting to construct them in their brains. However, with Abby, it was done in a matter of hours.

"This pace may very well go beyond those fifth-grade apprentices!" Wade estimated.

After Abby's transmission, Wade had already completely understood the structure of the first node. It was in the shape of a prism and was filled with patterns and helixes, making one dizzy the more they looked at it.

"To begin the meditation, I must first have peace of mind and imagine a serene view..."

Wade slowly closed his eyes.

In the darkroom of black academy, Wade sat cross-legged and had closed his eyes, as if he was in a slumber.

After an unknown period of time, there were a few spots of black lights flickered in Wade's surroundings and then they entered his body, and very soon they disappeared.

Wade's eyelids fluttered, and he opened his eyes.

"So tiring! It seems like the meditation technique has a time limit! Abby! Check my body's status!"

[Beep! Scanning the Host's body!]

[The Host's brain cells have been stimulated, and all of the cells in the body have increased inactivity as a whole!]

[Beep! The Host's Vitality has increased by 0.05!]

"Oh... there's no doubt that they are the techniques for Sages. I can feel that the key purpose of this meditation technique is to increase the Mental Force, and the increase in Vitality is only an added benefit."

"The Mental Force affects my stats! After practising the meditation technique, my Vitality has actually started to exceed my previous limit!" Wade's was holding an indescribable joy in his heart.

"According to the introduction in the data, sleeping right after meditation will provide the most optimal effects!"

[Beep Beep! The alarm is ringing!] Abby's voice rang, and carried Wade out from his slumber.

"It is already the time that I set my alarm for!" Wade stretched lazily, and saw that the clock showed the time as 5:30.

"I'd better hurry up and tidy up! I still need to see Mentor Fred!" Wade washed up quickly, went to the dining hall and gobbled down a bread for his breakfast, and then rushed to the experiment lab from yesterday.

"Good morning Sir!" Wade greeted

He noticed a male apprentice beside the half skulled Fred. He had blue eyes and blonde hair, and seemed to be another apprentice of the professor.

"Hm? You attempted the meditation technique?" Fred furrowed his brows, "How did it feel?"

" I felt a little dizzy and felt slight nausea!"

"This is a common side effect of the transmission from the memory crystal ball; you just need to get more rest during this period!" Fred said.

"Come, let me introduce you! This is Mike, my other apprentice. This is Wade, the new disciple I took in from yesterday's batch!"
