17: Cutting Ties

As soon as the crow finished talking the academy token which was lying inside the bowl started to levitate.

It came towards Wade and stopped right in front of his chest, slowly a water screen started to come out of it and floated in front of his face.

The water-screen looked like a survey form in which you had to fill in your name, your address, where you used to study and various other personal information that was generally used when a kid was being entered into an academy.

Even though looking at the water screen shocked him, Wade was quite sure that the screen would not harm him and could be touched.

As if, reading what was on his mind the crow spoke, "The screen can be touched and you have to input all your data. Once the data is completed it will be uploaded from my side to the academy. They will then start the procedure for your entrance into the academy. It will take about two to three days for this, so you have to make it quick because one week later the academy's new term will start." after hearing this, Wade didn't hesitate too much and started inputting his data,

within two to three minutes, the page was fully filled.

After making sure that all the data which had to be given was inputted properly in it without any problems, he let the crow send it to the academy.

He didn't want to hide anything from the Academy, even if the academy discovered that he had killed Larry to get his token, it didn't matter much to him.

According to what Larry has said there were various kinds of students who entered the academy using different methods and he already knew that this Academy was based on the rule of 'survival of the fittest'.

Otherwise, what kind of Academy would start a tournament which consists of deathmatches to select the students who would enter.

If he could kill Larry and enter instead of him, it just showed that he was much better than him in some aspect.

So the academy would not have any problem letting him enter. As far as his information being used for other purposes. It didn't really matter to him as he didn't have anything to hide from the academy.

By chance this decision turned out to be which would kill him, then he had already died once what was once more.

But he was thankful that they would take care of the matters regarding the resigning from the school and his work as he didn't want to waste his energy on this matters.

What he really wanted to do right now was go back to the orphanage to bid goodbye to the warden as she was the only family which this kid had and he knew that if he could just say goodbye the soul of this kid would rest in peace.

However, that was not the main motive for going back, the motive for going back was to know from where the meat had come, which had helped him break through his vitality.

If you could get more of that meat may be within a week before entering the academy all his attributes may be able to break the human limit of 2.

This would not only help him, but also his future foundation would be much better than others he thought inwardly.

While he was thinking the crow had already sent his data to the academy and got the reply that they had received it.

Nodding its head the crow looked towards Wade and said, "Your data has been sent to the academy and you will get the response in 2 to 3 days. From now on I will be in your care Master, as I am your blood partner.

About any of your secrets in the future, you don't have to worry because as soon as we enter the Academy, my control would be directly handed over to you.

So I think you should give me a name Master because I will stay with you till the end of your academy career or more. " as soon as the crow finished saying that the academic token, which had already turned red started to float in front of Wade's chest and entered his chest as if some kind of Illusion and vanished.

Wade was quite shocked seeing this because as soon as the academic token vanished. He could feel near his diaphragm a small coin-shaped item had taken place.

Abby had already started inspection on it inside his mind, showing that an anomaly had taken place in his body.

But while this was happening, he didn't feel anything so he didn't try to show a shocked face in front of the crow, instead he said, "Fine, you will be called Jack." Wade replied and started to pack all the ceremony belonging.

The crow was satisfied with his name and slowly it started to turn his body illusional while going back inside the academic token inside Wade's chest.

Even though this whole process was quite shocking Wade didn't show any signs of it on his face.

It didn't take long for him to gather all the objects that were required during the ceremony.

After inspecting the area properly to make sure he had left no clue behind. He started his journey back to the train station.

On his way back he went to a scrap yard where all the ceremony objects had been taken care off.

While keeping the language book with him. He went to the subway station and back to his dorm.

After coming back he booked a ticket to the Berg District, which was where his home was, he had booked the ticket for tonight so that he can reach it tomorrow and start his investigation as soon as possible for his foundation.

As well as to cut his ties with everybody as fast as possible because he had decided that after obtaining the information from the orphanage he would come back to the Ghazi district and live in some hotel before the Academy starts.
