The smell of snow, earthy, perhaps bearing a lingering scent of grass, rose up to Valente's nose as he carried Suni to a nearby abandoned wooden house. Right now, it was the only place around in which he could treat the omega in his arms.
Breathing out, he put Suni down on the cold floor quickly radiating heat from his body, glowing red. He concentrated on making a cloth if he could create one from his magic. Creation was not his best magic but he was working on it. Somehow, he managed to fabricate a small piece of cloth, it was not perfect but it wasn't so bad either. At least the cloth was clean so now there were no risks of infection.
"Tch, you lost so much blood." He mumbled to himself, wrapping the cloth around her arm which was still bleeding. Wrapping it tightly but carefully to stop the blood from flowing out, he lied down with her, scooping her in his arms and giving warmth.
"You did well." He whispered, kissing her forehead, rubbing her snow-white ears. She purred cuddling closer, unknowingly.
Valente instantly knew Suni had magic powers, once he sensed she was her mate. He felt the attribute of the magic was air and it was strong, even exceeding his. He felt that she could defeat the old man, Chester and she did.
Sun was already down and the redhead was feeling very hungry. His stomach rumbled, knowing he could not control his hunger anymore, he stood up only to sit back down. He couldn't just leave her alone. He sighed seeing her shiver.
An idea popped into his mind but for that, he needed a cloth again. Focusing, a large red cloth, similar to the one wrapped around Suni's arm, came into existence. He smirked proudly at himself and tied Suni to his back, emitting heat.
Valente ran through the dense forest in search of fruits or animals except for deer, knowing Suni wouldn't even touch that. The red sword shone in his hands from the moonlight. Feeling omega's breasts pressed on his backs, brushing every now on then, he blushed getting distracted. The emotions of love were stronger than ever because of the mate thing.
He shook his head, pushing the lovely thoughts in the back of his mind. Just then, he heard Suni mumbling.
"Valente..." She patted his shoulder.
"You're awake! Does your hand hurt?"
"A little bit." She whispered, pressing her nose to his neck, shyly.
Valente smiled, "It'll go away soon."
"Okay..."
"And you did so nice! I am proud of you."
Suni's eyes widened as she thought back to the incidents. She gasped causing Valente to stop walking, "What happened?"
"I HAVE POWERS!" She yelled.
"I know that, dumbass!" He tittered. "Stop shouting near my ears!"
"How do you know that?"
"Well, because I felt your powers when I sensed we were mates."
"You were so sure I could defeat him on my own? I-is that why?-"
He cut her off, "Yes." He started walking and continued talking. Suni smiled with her eyes closed.
"I'm happy!"
"That you have magic?"
"That too but mostly because we are mates!" Suni giggled, happily, her nose and cheeks had a slight blush on them.
"I'm happy too. You wanna know an interesting thing?"
"Yeah?"
"Our powers together are a great advantage to us."
"How?" She tilted her head slightly.
"Red fire is more powerful than the simple fire. And with air, it is more powerful. Know why?"
"No. Why?"
"Because it expands it. Air expands and supports fire."
"Really? Wow."
"Yes. Now you know." He chuckled. "And also, now that you finally discovered your magic, let's put it to use. You have to train at least five hours a day, increase your stamina and be strong. Okay?"
Suni nodded, excitedly.
"It's gonna be hard."
"I'll do it." She said, determined.
"Good. Training starts when your arm heals."
"Okay."
A deer's scent hit Valente's nose as Suni's ear twitched.
"Not the deer!" Suni exclaimed.
"Yeah! Yeah! I am not killing it!" He sighed, listening to both of their tummies making noise.
"Y-You can put me down," Suni muttered.
"Yeah." The cloth disappeared.
"Oh?" She put her feet on the ground, looking at him with puzzled eyes.
"I created it!" Valente smiled.
"You can do this too?"
"I can do anything!" Valente smirked, leaning closer to her face and giving her a little kiss on her blushed nose causing her to redden even more with shy wide eyes.
The redhead laughed at her reaction. "I'll be giving you kisses often now, so be ready."
"O-o-okay," She stuttered, looking away.
A rabbit passes through. A snow rabbit. The alpha got ready to kill it.
"Not the rabbit!"
And he stopped and gritted his teeth as the rabbit got away.
"We have to eat something! Or will die starving, here!" Valente negotiated.
"P-Please!" The black-haired flashes puppy eyes causing him to groan a "fine". She smiled. "Can we look for fruits, instead?"
"Yeah, whatever." He sighed. His eyes lit up, seeing a goat. "Please tell me the goat is fine." He held Suni's arm looking at her with pleading eyes.
She couldn't help but nod.
"Ah! My tummy will be full!" He shot his sword at the goat, killing it with one go.
Suni's eyes filled with tears. He shook his head and sighed feeling her emotions go through her.
"You eat fruits, okay? Let me have the goat. I'll find you, fruits."
The omega nodded and wiped her tears.
"I do smell strawberries, near."
The Redhead carried the goat, almost drooling, he wanted to eat so bad.
"Okay, here they are." His heart fluttered, watching Suni smile sweetly at the sight of strawberries and raspberries.
"That looks yummy!" She plucked them but then pouted. "Where do I keep them?"
"Umm...Here's your first lesson!" He thought of something. "Carry them with the wind. I don't think it's gonna be hard. Can you do it?"
"I'll try." She said and plucked all the berries, trying to manipulate them with the air around her.
She concentrated and tried hard but couldn't do it.
"I-"
"Try more! You can do it!"
Suni nodded, trying again. After half an hour, she finally got the hang of it.
