Damien and Ezekiel walked down the stairs while one guard led them in front and one guard followed behind them. Something was not right. Damien knew Zia was in the town and Arlon is who had her detained. He had to be hiding her, keeping her to himself.

There was no way he was leaving the town without her. Zia belonged to him and only he could decide what she did from what she didn't do.

Thoughts of ripping Arlon's head from his body and setting him ablaze flooded his mind. Since killing Orion, he had begun to crave the kill. It was one of the things Nerezza helped him to control. Every day he lost more and more of any control that existed within him. It didn't bother him much at the moment though. He would need his demon at its most fiercest to make it through this task.
