Chapter Thirty Nine_Rescue Time

Night dawned, and the Fourth Bay Police Station, in conjunction with the Special Investigations Department (SID) of the Federal Forces of Vertina Country, quietly and discreetly sneaked their squad members to assigned posts near the Angel House.

To outsiders, the building looked like a normal office building with multiple floors, because it fronts as a Tech Company, but only the 'workers' knew that it was a lurking death trap, and the evils perpetrated within were numerous.

The rescue squad consisted of Catherine, Detective Kesley, two men from the Fourth Bay Police Station, and two experienced Federal Agents.

Despite their stealth moves, as soon as they scaled the wall, alarms blared within the Angel House, alerting its occupants of intruders.

Immediately, two machine guns hidden at the roof of the building sprung up, locked onto the invaders, and started firing at them.

"Shit! This is crazy!" One of the Policemen spat, hurriedly but expertly dodging the flying bullets.
