I don't want to be filled with guilt if the mission goes wrong at some point and it requires one to die "He wrote down something on a piece of paper, folded it, and tossed it over to him. Carrying his equipment, he climbed the first stone, looked back at him, and saw the hesitation in his eyes.
Giving him an assuring look he continued to climb as the sky turned dark and started to rain.
