Making deals over game of cards

Captain Hawks laughed shaking his head. "Yeah. Your the second person I've heard that's said that in the last couple of weeks. Ah. Forget this political bullshit for a bit. Do you know how to play poker?"

"Why you looking to lose a lot of money tonight.?" I asked.

Captain Hawks laughed and he got to his feet. "Let's play a game of cards a bit. I brought some of the people in the king's circle." He said and waved me to my feet.

I sighed and got to my feet. Captain Hawks waved me ahead of him and we walked into the main room of the bar. The crowd have died down. It was more the usual customers but a table of guardsmen were sitting at a table waiting for us. I took an empty seat and picked up the cards. Captain Hawks picked up a seat from another table and brought it to the table and sat down to my right.
