Chapter 1: Accident

In the deepest floor of the dungeon, the final battle that will determine the fate of the world is taking place. A young man from Japan, tasked by a Goddess to defeat the Devil King of this world, is in the midst of this battle.

Before this, he was just a weak adventurer. But due to Aqua's reckless actions, he was forced to take matters into his own hands.

Kazuma teamed up with the former general of the Devil King's army 'Vanir' to help him level up and earn skill points to learn various skills. But he didn't stop there.

In a large mansion, the four members of the hero party who had successfully defeated the Devil King were having a farewell party.

"Aqua, Kazuma, do you really want to go back to your original world?"

Megumin and Darkness asked them both in a sad tone.

"Megumin, Darkness, I am a goddess. Even if I return to heaven, I will always watch over you from up there. If you miss me, you can join the Axis sect; that way, you'll be able to see me more often."

"I refuse that."

"I'm sorry, Megumin, Darkness, but I want to go back to my original world. Don't worry; we will definitely meet again. Don't forget, I have Teleport magic, and I've asked Goddess Eris to grant me the ability to use this magic to travel between worlds as a reward for defeating the Devil King."

"I see. If that's your choice, Kazuma, then I won't oppose it. But don't make me wait too long; I will definitely miss you."

Aqua pulled out her Scepter and contacted Eris to activate the magic circle that would take them away.

"Okay, senpai! Thank you for your hard work. And Kazuma-san, I'm so proud of you!"

Moments later, the magic circle appeared beneath Aqua and Kazuma. The circle lifted their bodies slightly off the ground. But just as the magic circle was about to dissapear, Megumin suddenly jumped into the circle and hugged Kazuma.

"I can't accept this! I don't want to be separated from Kazuma. Wherever Kazuma goes, I will follow you. Please don't leave me!"

"Hey, hey, Megumin, what are you doing? Let go of me!!"

"No, I won't let you go!"

Seeing this, Darkness couldn't just stand by and instinctively jumped into the magic circle as well.

"Megumin, that's unfair! I don't want to be left alone in this world either! Kazuma, take me with you too!"

Inside the magic circle, Megumin and Darkness hugged Kazuma tightly, as if they wouldn't let go of him even if their arms were severed.

In another world, there is a city called Orario. This city is known as the only city in the world that has a dungeon. At the center of the city stands a tall building called Babel, built atop a dungeon.

While everyone was going about their usual activities, suddenly a magic circle appeared in front of the Babel Tower.

The magic circle attracted the attention of everyone, both outside and inside the Babel Tower.

After glowing for a minute, four silhouettes emerged from the magic circle.

One was a blue-haired woman radiating divinity, as if announcing that she was a goddess.

The other silhouettes were of an ordinary man tightly embraced by two women.

Several groups of adventurers planning to enter the dungeon were taken aback by this scene.

"Hey, look! A goddess has descended from heaven. Quickly, report this to the guild!"

"Yes, Captain."

"Really? But why are there humans beside the goddess?"

Kazuma, Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness opened their eyes and took in the first sights of the new world they had arrived in.

In front of them stood an enormous tower, with many people entering and exiting. Judging by their appearance and the weapons they carried, they were likely adventurers or something similar.

Before the group of four could express their surprise, a female elf approached them.

"Hello, Goddess. Welcome to the Labyrinth City of Orario. I'm Eina Tulle, a guild receptionist overseeing all matters related to the dungeon."

The four of them stood frozen, unable to process what they had just heard.

"Hey, hey, Kazuma, did you hear that? She called me a goddess! This is the first time someone's recognized me as a goddess right away. It seems like the people here have good eyes."

Kazuma ignored Aqua and asked the elf woman, "Wait, Eina-san, did you just say 'goddess'? You know this woman is a goddess?"

"Eeh?? of course. She's radiating divinity, so of course she's a goddess. By the way, who are you three? What's your connection to this goddess?"

Just as Kazuma was about to answer the elf's question, Megumin interrupted their conversation.

"My name is Megumin! My calling is that of an archwizard, one who controls explosion magic, the strongest of all offensive magic!"

Megumin introduced herself in a grand way and make a pose that made her looks like some humanoid thing would appear behind her and ready to punch anyone while screaming and repeating the same word again and agian. Eina Tulle was at a loss on how to respond to Megumin's unusual self-introduction.

"Aaah… I see."

"M-my name is Darkness. I'm a Crusader, n-nice to meet you."

For some reason, Darkness also introduced herself with a shy expression.

Aqua wasn't going to stay quiet. After living so long in the lower world, someone finally recognized her as a goddess. Aqua felt this was her moment and began to introduce herself.

"Hehehe, I am the Goddess of Water, Aqua. I am the goddess who governs water in this beautiful world! Oh, by the way, this is Satou Kazuma. He's my follower and an honorary member of the Axis Sect that worships me."

"Oi, oi, who said I'm your follower?! Don't make things up!!"

Before the situation got any more complicated, Kazuma spoke to Eina Tulle.

"Eina-san, can we talk somewhere quieter? I think you need an explanation, and we also need to explain what just happened. Besides, we're not comfortable being seen by so many people like this."

"Ehh? I'm sorry! In that case, let's talk at the Guild."
