--- Finn's POV ---
After thoroughly explaining and addressing all of Loki's inquiries concerning Ren's identity and arrival in this world, Loki skillfully interjected
"Ais, do you also wish to train under this man?"
While Riveria and I had concluded that Ren should remain here for observation, considering we had spent only a few hours in his presence—hardly enough time to guarantee the veracity of his claims, even though it was painfully evident—Ais held a different stance.
"Yes."
Her response was prompt and resolute, nearly eliciting a laugh from me. Perhaps, during their brief "training" session, Ren managed to convey something to Ais that had eluded us. She exhibited no qualms about placing a certain degree of trust in him, and her concern for him was apparent...
She was so distinct from us, so enigmatic, yet in moments like this, deciphering her thoughts was remarkably effortless. Unfortunately, we had no power to alter her decisions if she had made up her mind.
We could only advise her to observe him carefully, to truly consider whether she wished to place her trust in him. But ultimately, we were neither Ais' parents nor did we live her life.
If she chose to spread her wings and take flight... the least we could do was bear witness to it.

As I found myself caught in a situation akin to a father reluctantly giving his daughter away in marriage, the moment was abruptly interrupted by Loki's sigh. Her gaze sharpened as she responded
"While I recognize your sincerity and Ais' determination to train under you, I cannot accept this. Entrusting our Familia member to someone we barely know, someone who has only recently acquainted themselves with her... Surely, you understand my perspective, don't you?"
Her words contained an element of truth, yet they also seemed to dismiss Ais' own desires. That approach would only yield unfavorable results, Loki...
Before I could interject and defend Ren, he simply smirked at Loki, almost as if he had foreseen this outcome, even with our support.
Don't tell me...
"You mentioned that you cannot trust me, given the short time that has passed since I met Ais. Well, I must say, I agree. Who could confirm that I am not actually an assassin plotting to harm your Familia member? To be honest, Loki, I admire your intelligence and foresight. Your willingness to protect her is something I wish to express gratitude for, not only to you but to the entire Familia. If none of you can place your trust in me, considering you have nothing substantial to rely on, then the matter is quite simple."
With a snap of his fingers, I witnessed the sudden manifestation of wide, black chains above him. They trembled with anticipation as if heralding the commencement of a World-Altering event.
Fuck. This madman...
[Let the entire world bear witness, for today, I, Ren Von Seraphis, solemnly swear to never, under any circumstances, attempt to harm the Loki Familia unless they initiate harm upon me first. I shall offer them my support when I can, and in return, they shall cease doubting my intentions for every action I undertake. I beseech the Goddess Loki herself to bear witness to this eternal vow. Should it ever be broken, may my Soul be consumed by the world itself, my Body reduced to ashes until not even a speck of dust remains.]
A surge of power coursed through the chains, causing them to quiver and shake with otherworldly energy. Their vibrations reverberated throughout the vast expanse of the world, generating a deep and resounding rumble that emanated from the very core of it.
The symphony resounded with excitement, their ethereal notes intertwining and echoing far and wide, capturing the attention of all who heard it.
In perfect harmony with the chains' tumultuous melody, Ren's unwavering vow pierced through the fabric of reality, traversing the entire world, and resonating with the souls of those fortunate enough to bear witness.
The weight of his commitment lingered in the air, infusing the atmosphere with an undeniable aura of profound significance.
The world held its breath, acknowledging the gravity of Ren's declaration.
Such a gesture surpassed mere verbal assurances, leaving an indelible mark upon the tapestry of existence.
In an instant, the chains materialized over Loki as well. After two brief seconds, I observed the chains tightly binding something translucent within both Ren and Loki's bodies—namely, their souls.
This madman... he has just made a vow to the World itself¹¹ with the same ease as devouring a plate of cabbage.
We were all left in utter shock, unable to comprehend the magnitude of what had just occurred.
Even Loki's eyes widened to the point of nearly popping out of their sockets. She trembled uncontrollably, unable to regain her composure, while the man before us remained inexplicably calm.
"Now, everything is settled, isn't it? I patiently awaited this moment so that the Goddess Loki herself could personally witness this vow. Now, please, Loki-sama, grant me permission to remain here and train Ais."
He even bowed before her, refusing to raise his head until Loki-sama gave her consent...
Please, someone, just knock me out so I can finally sleep. I'm so tired...

Little Trivia: Typically, World Laws are not meant to reverberate across the entire planet, reaching the ears of every living being. Yet, Ren is "essentially" a Demi-God-like existence, possessing a power that transcended the boundaries of mere mortals but not quite reaching the divine.
His proclamation of an Eternal law was akin to nourishment for the world itself, eagerly absorbing the resonance of his words, yearning to grow stronger and flourish. If either side breaks it, it would all become good food.
